Thanks for this list, you have more chance of getting banned for clothing than for selling food lol . I was wondering, does Vinted ban accounts that generate less money for the platform more easily and quickly?
I will continue to update this post regarding Vinted blocks, which seem to be increasingly frequent with increasingly vague or illogical reasons depending on the situation. So, feel free to share your experience!
Last week: 5-day restriction for « commercial sales » (I am a professional seller) because I had added « x100 » text to a photo to make it more impactful (lot of very small items, regularly sold and listing boosted many times without issues before the image modification).
What I learned: never add text to a photo again!
my account was permanently blocked a month and a half ago
reason unclear as it was a generic message with all the usual accusations stating that I did not comply with the regulations (commercial sales / counterfeiting …) as I have seen for others
I specify that I only have one account, that I had nothing to reproach myself for
After sending several messages from the only available messaging system, emails to many addresses found on the internet, … I stumbled upon a post here talking about the Friptadium website and all the information provided
And as a last resort, I filed a report on SignalConso last week
And 2 days later my account was unblocked with a generic message saying it was a mistake
Chance, coincidence … I don’t believe it
I would therefore like to start by thanking Friptadium for its site and its very well-made information page
I also thank the people on this mutual aid forum (it was very useful for me) and those who say not to give up, thank you
So to those who currently have a blocked account and have done nothing wrong … and who have tried emails and requests via the messaging system … SignalConso takes 5 minutes …
And do not hesitate to come back to this forum to tell us how it went for you
I got banned twice for 3 days in one week for a stolen photo.
The first time I didn’t appeal, but the second time I sent a recourse stating they had to prove it wasn’t my photo.
An automatic response said I had to wait 120 hours for a reply (it’s been 3 days and I’m still waiting) and since I’m Belgian, I filed a complaint with the SPF Economy for inefficient customer service due to its slowness!
