I just launched a republication batch with Clemz.
There were various things, but mostly video games.
Something unrelated slipped through (a puzzle), but my first 3 video games were detected as counterfeit, and my account was blocked.
Preventative message, I don’t know the cause, to see if manually I would have had the same issue. Maybe they changed something in this category, and the automatic republication created the problem. No idea at the moment, I can’t do any more tests.
Did you dispute this claim of counterfeiting? This is the only solution for this reason: contact (if not harass) support to indicate that these are not counterfeits.
Yes, of course, but I wanted to alert other people, because in this case they are not reports, as I received the alerts as soon as the publications were made.
I also created a ticket for you, Lucile, because there might be something to look into with republications, if Vinted has changed something.
I had launched 10 republications, so 7-8 video games.
What is not a video game went through, the games were directly tagged as counterfeit, and the account was blocked after 3 attempts.
The size of my closet doesn’t really matter for the current problem, I think.
It should be noted that I had never had any issues before.
I tried to re-publish the ads that had caused problems (seen as counterfeiting), without any problem.
No idea why Vinted filtered them as counterfeiting.
Vinted and its mysteries…
Thank you for this valuable feedback!
Yes, we think Vinted’s detection bot has undergone changes recently.. And a large number of misses at the moment!
