I’m turning to you because I’m at an impasse, and I hope some of you have already experienced a similar situation.
For over 3 years, I’ve been managing a Vinted Pro account dedicated to reselling second-hand sneakers.
Serious account: several thousand 5-star reviews (+4500), high sales volume, systematic verification of the authenticity of the pairs offered for sale… In short, a declared and well-established business.
On June 1st, my account was permanently suspended for « fraudulent activity » without specific details.
The problem is that this block comes after a series of temporary suspensions due to waves of mass reports, which Vinted itself had acknowledged as unjustified each time. Now, overnight, it’s permanent, without a real explanation or possibility to discuss. All messages that could serve as proof against Vinted are inaccessible because my messaging system is blocked.
The appeal through Vinted’s messaging system yielded nothing, and my formal notice emails requesting an explanation have remained unanswered (automatic responses, no human contact).
My question: Have any of you managed to get a Pro account reopened after a permanent suspension? Is there a concrete recourse, a good contact channel (besides Vinted’s legal email address & DPO), or a process that has actually succeeded?
Furthermore, Vinted prohibits me from creating a new account to start over… I see solutions here and there for creating accounts endlessly, like most counterfeit sellers on Vinted do. Could one of you indicate the steps to recreate an account while staying under Vinted’s radar if they decide not to reinstate my account?
