Indeed, I’m thinking the same thing: perhaps a way for Vinted to see who uses this tool. If we only have favorites and no views, we risk being targeted by Vinted…
Personally, I trust Clément. I’ll wait 2 to 3 months to see, but the views will be greatly missed.
I only have the smallest subscription. I use republication, views, and favorites. I don’t have the rest.
At worst, in the meantime, reduce the number of favorites in the app’s panel and wait a few hours for your articles to get views.
yes, of course; it depends on what you are selling and in what quantity. It allows you to have management as if you had a personal e-commerce website (or almost).
Hello! To answer your various questions:
- Why not keep the few views we were getting? 4-5 is better than zero.
Sending 4-5 « real » views required Clemz users to send 30-40, meaning a 90% failure rate. In summary, and without going into detail, this means that 90% of the time, Vinted considers it « non-compliant » activity that should not be counted as a real view. And this could eventually draw attention to Clemz users, which I don’t want. 
- Can’t the gap between views and favorites be suspicious to Vinted?
Since you can favorite from a Vintie’s closet without displaying the item, and therefore without giving a view, it doesn’t seem suspicious to me.
I also believe that Vinted, if it wants to detect suspicious activity, will look more at browser behavior (IP address, clicks, scrolling on the page, mouse movements, etc.) rather than the fact that a closet seems to have strange statistics. Otherwise, it would be enough for someone to just favorite an account without viewing its items, and Vinted would consider that account (which did nothing wrong) as suspicious.
- Why not compensate with more favorites?
I prefer to proceed step by step and not disrupt the tool and its rules too much as soon as a problem arises. The first step will be, at the beginning of 2026, to attempt a final session to bring back views… It’s potentially wishful thinking, but I have to try

Yes, indeed, it might be a good idea to keep the view functionality. I was still able to get some, and it’s certainly better than 0 and not displaying it in the paid services. For me, I still had more activity, now it’s dead calm, and that’s putting it mildly!
Indeed, it’s not moving at all now…
In the meantime, if you want views AND favs, we can always go back to « the old ways » with boost sessions. If people are motivated, maybe we can organize that…

In that case, given all of clemz’s features, we divide the subscription price by all of clemz’s features and then pro-rata based on the days of the bug, congratulations, you’ve won 30 cents! You are comparing incomparable things, clemz allows us to earn more money, when you go to the cinema you don’t earn money… you just need to be a little human and thank the team for providing us with an extension that allows us to go to restaurants or the cinema more often. Food for thought!

An idea comes to me following these changes: would it be possible to choose articles to boost with favorites?

I chose compensation for my part, so I received 250 additional republications last night. My subscription renews tomorrow, the 18th. I would like to know if the republications, part of the 250, will still be valid tomorrow? I had finished the republications (1000) yesterday, I just want to be sure that the remaining compensation will not be withdrawn from me tomorrow…

Doing exchanges unfortunately for me I don’t have the time, I had already tried and if you have the « misfortune » not to participate one day, directly it’s « hey but I didn’t receive my views »… uh so no thank you in fact, there are other more important things in life than being « attacked » because you couldn’t send views

Following Clément’s announcement of compensation in the form of republications, can we have some clarification:
- Is there a time limit for using these republications?
- Can we use as many as we want each day, or are we restricted to the same daily quotas as usual (which would not allow us to compensate for our pre-Christmas losses)?
- Wouldn’t it be relevant to create a new topic in the forum concerning this compensation? Personally, I learned about it in the extension, and I tried to understand (I rarely consult the forum). Well, I had a terrible time finding Clément’s message, I had to read lots of messages and I’m still not sure that the questions I’m asking above haven’t already been addressed (my apologies if they have).

The time limit for this compensation is the same as usual: your subscription renewal. You can use these republications in exactly the same way as others: if you want to republish 100 articles in one evening… or 50, it’s up to you 
Important messages are highlighted with a yellow background, for easier reading (or a darker shade if you are in « dark » mode.)

Hello, so my « compensation » will have only lasted a few hours. And I wouldn’t have been able to use it. I think the terms of this compensation need to be reviewed. Compensation serves to compensate (therefore) for a loss. It should not be limited in time. Otherwise, it’s not compensation.

Good evening Lucile, it’s not wise on Vinted to mass-post republications!!! The best way to get noticed and it’s also ineffective. Unless you have several thousand items for sale.

I sent you an email this evening awaiting your reply… the 250 Republications have disappeared for me, and since my subscription was renewed today, it’s not very cool… if I had known, I would have waited until today to accept the compensation, at least I would have had a month and not 24 hours.
