Hello, following the end of this feature, I was wondering if it is relevant to be able to choose a product to which we want to add favorites so that it is less suspicious, is this possibility in your plans?
Is it relevant to add favorites to items that do not yet have views? Concretely, is it relevant to sell more? If so, how relevant is it?
Hello, the answer to your questions is already above. We, as buyers, can favorite items without clicking on them, thus without leaving a view. So there is no problem. And yes, itâs effective, less so than views, but it helps boost listings a little.
on the contrary, itâs the most impactful element, Vinted pushes you down in the search algorithm with the age of your listing, so republishing makes your listing appear as new and will therefore go back up in the search results but also have more chances of being in the suggestions. So when you are on items that give few search results, it might not change much (at least in the search). On the other hand, for items that give thousands of results, the fact that Vinted only displays 500 listings in the search results can make a difference.
The subject was the mass republication of items to use the compensation of clemz, I believe. Mass republishing so many articles does not affect the algorithm if done sporadically. It needs to be regular and proportional to the size of the closet. Regularly republishing several times a day, spacing out the publications, boosts the algorithm each time. If you have a huge closet and republish that much every day, itâs okay. Not for small closets. The algorithm will forget about us after a few days.
Iâm following up on the topic of being able to choose which items to favorite. That would be really great and would cushion the blow of losing views.
