indeed we have been on the subject since this morning, it seems to be a bug on Vinted’s part.
We are continuing to investigate to best understand what is happening.
In case you need it, a little info: I tried to re-list all of this on the afternoon of the 29th. The first keychain went through, and it was from the second one onwards that I was banned for 24 hours. My ban was lifted just now around 1:45 p.m., so we can say that the Vinted bug definitely started after 2 p.m. yesterday.
This seems to be resolved. There was an update from Vinted, and I think it must have been on their end because I tried several different things and everything is working perfectly now (except for the listings that were saved as drafts and remained unpublishable).
I republished the jewelry ads that had gone into draft and where I was asked to put a non-existent subcategory via auto-completion and they have gone through
If it’s a necklace, Vinted doesn’t accept the necklace category, so I put another category temporarily, I validate, and then I can modify the listing again.
But I was blocked this morning following this procedure, I don’t know if that’s the cause.
Vinted doesn’t like it when you put an inadequate category, and it attracts the robot’s attention… Given the current waves of restrictions, it’s not very wise in my opinion…
By republishing with auto-completion, you can modify the listing (in the case of these buggy listings, put the category ‹ necklace › or ‹ bracelet ›, etc., because the category has disappeared) BEFORE publishing, you save time and don’t attract the robot’s attention, which would have detected the wrong category.
You should try it, I’m sure your listings will go through like mine did
