Cannot republish certain articles

I just tested earrings that were in draft because of the wrong category, and after republishing, they are still in draft because of the category.

How do you handle complementary additions? Because you have to go back to the clemz save to republish?

Sorry, I’m still at work and haven’t been on the forum today

Here’s how I did it:

  • Delete the draft
  • Go to the backup and put the item in the to-do list

Or

  • Select the draft in smart dressing

  • Add it to the to-do list

  • Go back to Vinted and open « sell an item Â»

  • Go to the Clemz app and the auto-completion tab will open there

  • Select from this menu « choose from my to-do list Â»

  • Then « fill in the form Â»

  • Let the auto-completion happen without touching anything

  • Check the listing and modify if necessary (in our case, indicate the category and everything that’s missing)

  • Publish

I’m writing all this from memory, I hope I haven’t forgotten anything. I’ll look into it when I get home, I hope this helps you

To fetch them from the backup, you need to create a list in the Clemz app (a new feature Clément presented a few days ago) and then delete these listings with the bulk delete function, and then load this list into the list to be processed. The rest is the same. No risk of duplicates.

During auto-completion, you see everything we do when creating a listing scrolling on the screen, except it fills itself in. At the end, you have the option to modify any field or even the photos. However, you have to let it run without touching (on the phone) or clicking (on the computer) until it’s finished so as not to block it.

The only thing I didn’t understand is that when the listing is ready to be published, it says you can either publish it or save it for later, and I don’t know how to save it for later, which would be great because it would allow preparing several listings in advance to publish them the next day, for example. @Lucile, maybe you could enlighten me

For me, this method worked, but I’ve read that for others it doesn’t work . I think ClĂ©ment is working on it to solve the problem. It might be a Vinted bug, I had an update the day before I could re-publish the buggy listings, but I don’t know if there’s a connection between the two
I also admit I haven’t contacted Vinted to report this bug because since we don’t know where it’s coming from, I prefer not to draw attention.

I also want to clarify that I’m a real duffer when it comes to anything computer-related, so if I managed it, there’s no reason why others shouldn’t be able to

To save for later, you need to save the ad as a draft and publish it the next day, for example.

The ideal would be to be able to schedule posts or reposts

Ah ok, that’s what I thought but in that case we don’t have the views created by Clemz. I was wondering if we could keep these ads in the list to be processed to publish them the next day and I didn’t really find how to do it!

Thanks for your answer Lucille and have a good afternoon

Yes, or rather to keep them in the list to be processed once the changes are made. Maybe that will come one day when Vinted gives Clément some time

You can keep them in the list to be processed, but in this case, on Vinted they will be in « draft Â» and the next day you will put them in « (re)publish ad Â» with Clemz → you will have views in this case.

When I use the autocomplete, which I leave as a draft to validate later, I do get Clemz’s views.
