Hello,
I’m contacting you for some information. I’ll explain my situation.
Every day, I republish 5 articles that are already on my Vinted ‹ closet › in the morning, no problem with that so far, it works perfectly, with no detection by the Vinted bot.
In the afternoon, I prepare my new listings (never published):
- I save them as drafts on my smartphone (the photos are on my smartphone)
- I then switch to my laptop
- I add the drafts to the processing list
- I then save the listings that I’ve put in my list
- and then I go to the ‹ republish › tab and click on ‹ (Re)publish ›
My problem is as follows:
Twice (on April 10th, and then today, April 20th), Vinted detected all the listings published via ‹ (Re)publish › as duplicates already present in their database, I quote:
Hello XXXX,
We have reason to believe that one or more listings you’ve uploaded already exist in our catalogue, which goes against our Catalogue Rules and Terms and Conditions.
As a result, we’ve removed one or more of your listings.
We made this decision because the characteristics of your item indicated that it was a duplicate listing.
Please note that if any of your other listings go against our Catalogue Rules, we may have to temporarily prevent you from uploading items, in accordance with our Terms and Conditions.
To prevent this from happening, please keep the following in mind:
Each item can only be uploaded once on Vinted.
You must use your own photos when adding an item. Using photos from other members or images from the internet is not allowed.
Please make sure to take new photos for all items you upload. If you use photos from a removed listing, we might consider the new listing a duplicate and take action.
To learn more, see which photos to upload when you list an item.
When we remove a listing that breaks our rules, we unfortunately cannot refund paid services like Boost or Wardrobe Spotlight.
Thank you for your understanding,

As soon as I noticed, I stopped the ‹ (Re)publish › process and then finished publishing the last listings manually.
I’d like to reiterate that:
- these listings concern new items and not republications
- the photos were taken by me on the day of publication and saved as drafts a few minutes before being published
- I’ve been doing this since it became mandatory to publish via Clemz to benefit from view/favorite exchanges, and I had never had this problem before April 10th.
During these detections, the following listings that I published manually (the ones that remained when I stopped the process following the first bot blocks) did not encounter any problems during their upload.
I therefore assume (this is only my assumption) that Clemz is encountering (perhaps?) a problem with the publication of draft items? Because by deduction, the problem seems to come from the draft listings:
- I don’t have any problems republishing my old listings.
- The listings concerned are new items with unique photos.
- New listings published manually without Clemz are not detected by the bot.
In this regard, have any of you encountered the same problem when publishing drafts of new items?
I’m not talking about republishing old listings, but specifically new items pre-saved as drafts?
I have already contacted support. The idea is to know if I’m alone with this problem or not, and if not, to share experiences and report this to Clem and support to help them fix this problem ![]()
Thanks in advance, team!
