I bought an item on Vinted and when it arrived it was full of stains and bad collar wear. In the seller photos nothing was shown and they did not disclose any stains in the description. I also asked them before buying if there were any stains etc. So I contacted them and they were very reluctant to take it back, but they agreed. I sent the package and they never collected it and it arrived back to me? What can I do, I contacted Vinted but no solution yet??? Does this happen a lot? This seller seems very disingenuous and dodgy. So far all of my selling and buying has been almost all positive, but this is so strange and deceitful. Just looking for advice? thx.
Okay, first of all, it’s because of this kind of individual that honest sellers suffer the consequences. (that’s my opinion)
The seller thought that by not picking up his package, he would win his case.
It has happened before that the seller was also compensated, but if it is recurrent on his part, he will not be.
For your part, therefore, it will certainly be a bit long, but you will win your case and you will receive a refund.
The item received is therefore unsellable… throw it away or give it to a charity, which may be able to remove the stains and offer it to someone in need.
Unfortunately, you will not be able to leave a review for this seller, a realistic one, since Vinted does not allow leaving a review when the transaction is not finalized.
Which is a shame in itself.
This reflects the inefficiency of their review system, which is not at all realistic.

I sometimes don’t pick up returned parcels if they are delivered to a pickup point that is too far away, or if their value is too low. For example, there was one for one or two euros that waited two years at the shop and the buyer ultimately didn’t collect it: I didn’t go pick it up. Vinted contacted me, then refunded.
The parcel will end up with resellers of unclaimed parcels. Not sure it will make anyone happy…
There’s nothing you can do, Vinted will end up refunding you.
