Uncollected parcel, not returned... and I lose everything? Your feedback 🙏

I would need your feedback on a situation with a Shop2Shop / Chronopost package via Vinted.

A buyer did not pick up their order (a shirt), they were refunded, but the package was never returned to me.
The tracking has been stuck since May 21st, and Vinted refuses to refund me, saying « that’s how it is. Â»

I contacted Chronopost directly today to open a claim, but I wanted to know:
Has this happened to you before?
And above all, have you managed to get your item or a refund back, either via Vinted or via the carrier?

I had a similar case during a return (the package didn’t arrive at the destination, it turned back halfway.) Vinted decided to refund the buyer but not me, and the package never came back. As Vinted had closed the transaction, I contacted Mondial Relay regularly to ask them where the package was. After an interminable waiting period (at least 1 month), I finally won my case thanks to Mondial Relay, who declared the package lost. I sent another message to Vinted support, and I got the order refunded quickly this time.
You have to be a bit tenacious in this situation :sweat_smile:
