Hello, Vinted is giving me 5 days to react. Either switch to a professional account or delete all the listings they’ve hidden. The problem is, when I try to delete them, I read « deleting a sold listing is forbidden blah blah and can lead to account blocking. » So, between my account being blocked in 5 days if I don’t delete them, or my account possibly being blocked immediately if I do delete them, what should I do?

Hello, can you remove the ads, just don’t do it all at once.
Space them out over time.

Okay, as soon as I gather some courage, I’ll delete one to see. The exact message is: « review your listings within 5 days and delete any that offer items reflecting a commercial sale. » We could also interpret this as I have 5 days to react from the moment the restriction is lifted? I find it lacks clarity.
you don’t even need to ask questions… it’s vinted!!! inconsistency is their strong suit… we’re also not allowed to sell new products, except they offer us the option by creating an ad… welcome to hell…

haha! or when they constantly encourage us to post… then punish us for posting too much. Yes, there’s inconsistency and especially the impossibility of talking to someone… in short, so you also vote to ignore the message and delete hidden posts, if I understand correctly?

yes, that’s the message, and it’s in the warning I received in my inbox that they say the 5-day restriction (if I do nothing) will become a 7-day restriction that could lead to a block. So what happens then when you click on « confirm and delete » when they just said above that it’s against the terms and conditions? I dare not click on this damn tab LMAO

I regularly delete items… That I sold on Vestiaire Collective, for example, and nothing else happens. Vinted can’t « punish » me for an item that I can no longer sell on their platform

Aaaaah cool! After 3 opinions in the same vein, I already feel much better, so I’ll delete them, thanks! I have 3 days left. My fear of clicking on something, I think it comes from my very first day on Vinted. I registered, explored a bit, then created a first listing just to see. When I had filled everything in, photos etc., I clicked on « Save as draft » (just to continue the next day). I clicked on draft and the page that opened told me « Your account is permanently blocked ». That’s where my trauma comes from, haha! My first day on Vinted actually lasted half an hour.

Vinted seems to say that switching to a pro account is the perfect solution in my case… so I’ll look into it. In the meantime, I’ve switched my items to Etsy… but it’s absolutely sad. I much prefer being on Vinted.
