Sending a very flat but large-surface package, namely a vinyl record packaged as ‹ « large » ›. The package arrives slightly bent (see photo).
Upon investigation, it appears that the dimensions of the largest lockers are not uniform. Some are larger than others. My package fit upon shipment diagonally, because the largest door opened. But upon arrival, the delivery person forced it into a locker that was only a few centimeters smaller. I am referring specifically to the L-sized lockers, as the XS and M sizes, on the other hand, always have the same dimensions.
Ah yes, I’ve often pointed out that Vinted Go is problematic for vinyl records (or rather, Laserdiscs in my case, but the format is the same), and that it shouldn’t even be allowed in the first place since it simply cannot fit (a sleeve is 33x33cm and the lockers are stated to be a maximum of 30cm).
However, for this, I use wide, square, and thin (roughly 35x35x10) very rigid boxes. This way, I’m sure the delivery person cannot force it and is obligated to drop it off at a pick-up point.
And indeed, not all lockers are the same size even if they have the same letter. In short, typical Vinted.
