Automated offers arrive on Clemz šŸ¤

Hello everyone!

A new version is available on Clemz, which brings with it a brand-new feature: automatic offers! :handshake:
Specifically, once configured, Clemz will be able to accept offers or make counter-offers on the offers you receive!
Configure your maximum discount, the number of counter-offers, your messages, and Clemz will save you even more time by selling… in your place!

Update Clemz to version 1.26 (The tutorial is here :right_arrow: 😵 RĆ©soudre un bug - Clemz) to test it now and… give us your feedback!

Hello
Regarding offers and counter offers.
I sent messages through the web interface, but the extension continues to tell me I have 0 messages for counter offer, acceptance, etc.

Am I missing something?

Did you set up the messages in the same browser where the extension is installed?

Good evening
Yes, on Chrome.
I click on the extension where it says message 0.
It opens a message settings tab, I fill in the message, I save the automation settings.
But in the extension it stays at 0, and "incomplete settings.

Thanks. Closing the settings window and reopening it under Clemz should refresh the extension information :ok_hand:

I have studied everything, personally, and I would like to know if I am the only one? The fact of Ā« having to Ā» make counter-offers AND a final offer slows me down a bit for the use of this new automation… I mean, personally, if someone makes me an offer that’s too low, I directly propose my final price with a little message Ā« Hello, I’m leaving it at …€. Have a nice day Ā»
I don’t bother with offer, counter-offer, etc…

If I understood the documentation correctly, it’s not possible? (you have to make a counter-offer/message first and then a final offer/message)?

In any case, congratulations to Clemz’s team for all the work!

Hello, I’m doing as you are, and so you can set a single message, that will be your final offer and clemz will send your last price. Have a nice day :cherry_blossom:

Ah ok, thanks! Because in the settings all messages seem mandatory (counter-offer message, final offer message, acceptance message), I thought I had to set up all three.

:folded_hands:

Personally, I don’t see the point of this function because the awarding of prizes systematically depends on the product, making it impossible to generalize.

This remark sparks my curiosity: can you explain why the discount amount depends on the price?
I’m asking because I think differently: I have a maximum % of discount that I authorize. I also set my initial prices accordingly.

Two questions:

  1. Is it possible to have a function to automatically accept lowball offers (e.g., at 10% off)?

  2. Someone creates a bundle in a closet that already has an automatic discount (say 15%), then tries to further reduce the price with an offer, say another 20% off. This results in a 32% discount (0.85 x 0.80 = 0.68) compared to the initial price.
Will Clemz’s automation be based on the initial price (= 100) or the price after the bundle discount (= 85)?
For example, if we set Clemz to make a counter-offer of 10% off (= 90), will it do nothing (because the automatic discount is already 85), or will it add to the automatic discount, to 76 (0.90 x 0.85 = 0.765)?

For example, an item sold for €25 in perfect condition, I’ll tend to lower the maximum price by €2. On the other hand, if I sell an item for €23 with one or more imperfections, I know it will sell less quickly, so I might lower the price to €17 for example. Therefore, for me, the feature is not of interest because it’s on a case-by-case basis.

Hello Faune,

We indicate these 2 points in the documentation:

  • If the offer is greater than or equal to your minimum price, Clemz accepts it. (So if you accept offers up to 15% discount, the one at 10% goes through.)
  • Regarding bundles, Clemz takes into account the discounts applied to your profile in this case.
If in doubt, we have put examples in the documentation :right_arrow: https://www.clemz.app/documentation/messages-auto#offers-how

And to answer @Sabine, setting up a single message is possible and in that case only one counter-offer will be sent indeed.

Thanks @Lucile, I tried but it tells me my configuration is incomplete (requirement to configure all messages, I had only saved a final offer message).

Thank you, the examples in the documentation are perfectly clear!

Great feature, however I’ve already noticed several Ā« issues Ā».

For Pro accounts, there is no way to activate discounts on bundles in Vinted, so the problem is that when a buyer makes a large bundle offer, Clemz will base it on the maximum discount I’m willing to accept for all my items. Example: I’m okay with accepting a 15% discount on my regular items with an average selling price of €30, but if a customer makes a bundle offer of several items for €100, I’ll grant a bigger discount (logically), I’m willing to give 20% or 25%. The problem is therefore that the maximum discount will be set at 85€. You’ll tell me that this request just needs to be handled manually, you’re right, but that defeats the whole purpose of the feature.

2nd problem:

Some messages and counter-offers are sent when items are no longer available. I received a message that was sent for a bundle where one of the two items had been relisted and only 1 was still available. So if I have a bundle of 2 items, one sells and the other remains online, Clemz will continue to send messages in this conversation even though it’s no longer possible for the buyer to get this bundle.

Also, quite a few bugs with reading favorites or offers that stagnate without progressing. The software must be a bit outdated, but consequently the loading bar doesn’t move…

I will continue testing this add-on, if I encounter other problems I’ll keep you informed.

Could you send us an email at bonjour@clemz.app please? This will allow us to look into it in detail with all of your Clemz account information
Thank you :slightly_smiling_face:

Hello,

Could you send us an email regarding the offer that was sent out for the batch with 1 more available item, please? Did this only happen once?
Ideally, a screenshot showing the batch and the buyer’s name, please.

Could you also clarify in the email what you mean by:
