The "Sales" module is available on Clemz! šŸŽ‰

Welcome to the forum and thank you for the compliments!

I saw that @vintoche replied a bit further down on this topic

In fact, the summary mode also makes it possible to avoid writing the name of the item on the slip. Ā« Package A, Package B Ā» is more discreet and reduces the risk of theft…

Thanks for the compliments! It was quite a bit of work, so it’s always heartwarming

Indeed, you got the answer: the 53-cent difference is the VAT on shipping costs that Vinted pays you, but which, in theory, you should then declare to the state… The forum has several discussions on the subject

Yes, that was clear to me, but I didn’t understand about the invoice! But we agree, I have to indicate this amount on the invoice? I thought I just had to put the price excluding tax (since I am exempt from VAT) of the item and not the Vinted fees?

Thanks anyway,

And yes, hard work pays off, but if you knew how much more efficient I can be thanks to clemz, I’m quitting my job soon to focus on selling second-hand items, without clemz I probably wouldn’t be able to do it, it opens so many doors for me with the time freed up! Really, crazy work, well done! Especially since you are attentive and super nice, it’s so pleasant!

You need to include the HT items and shipping costs. Not Vinted fees.

Your compliments will make us blush!
Don’t hesitate to talk about it on the Chromestore (www.clemz.app/extension) by leaving a review: the more people speak well of us, the happier we are

Hello,

The sales tracking is amazing, thank you for all the work.

I would like to know if it is possible to select certain sales and exclude them from the analysis. Indeed, these are manual re-publications: I buy with another Vinted account on my main account, then I cancel the sale in order to be able to re-publish the item using the option offered by Vinted.

As a result, these operations appear in the analysis as sales and then canceled purchases.

If it were possible to remove them, that would be ideal, as it would allow me to obtain truly representative accounting.

Hello,
I can no longer synchronize my sales on the Clemz dashboard via my Chrome browser, it tells me Ā« On the Vinted site, you are not connected to your closet. Ā»
However, I am indeed connected.

Edit: I just saw that the synchronization opens a tab on Ā« Vinted.com Ā». I am connected to the Ā« .fr Ā» and not the Ā« .com Ā», hence this problem. However, I don’t know if it’s a good idea to have 2 sessions open at the same time: Ā« .com Ā» + Ā« .fr Ā».

OMG YOU GUYS ARE CRAZY!!
I just took a look at your sales tool, wow I’m totally impressed!!
A big congratulations and especially a big thank you for this super gega mega new tool that will be precious to me.
Honestly Clemz, champion! you blew me away!

Downloading receipts in thermal printer format does not always work (it’s random, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t…).
Am I the only one?

Hello,

I just discovered the sales module and I find it very well done, even better than what can be found elsewhere, I am really impressed.

A small question though, I sell as a professional and I am subject to VAT on the margin, and this calculation is not offered for the invoice and for the VAT calculation. Is this planned for the future?

Thank you in advance

Hello,
Can you contact us by email about this? bonjour@clemz.app

@Meced_Shop Welcome to the forum and thank you for the compliments!
VAT is indeed included on Clemz’s side. Could you also send us an email about this please? bonjour@clemz.app
Thank you!

Same issue as Meced_Shop. The indicated VAT is not on the profit margin. Indicating the 20% VAT is useless for me. It risks unnecessarily complicating accounting. It makes me waste a bit of time each time I have to indicate on the invoices Ā« application of the margin scheme Ā».

It will be necessary to have the option to indicate on the invoice Ā« application of the VAT margin scheme Ā» instead of the VAT mention.

In any case, more options would be great and would really make our lives easier ^^

Thank you very much

Thank you for this message!

Tell us more about this Ā« margin VAT scheme Ā». How does it work? What are the conditions to benefit from it?

You are the first to tell us about it, which I find surprising given the number of resellers here…

In Belgium (but this is also the case in France, it seems to me) when selling used goods, VAT is calculated only on the profit margin (your profits, in short) and not on the gross selling price.

To perform this calculation, there are several possibilities; the most common is to have a purchase invoice and a sales invoice for the item.

When sending these invoices, instead of VAT, it must mention (or elsewhere on the invoice): Ā« application of the VAT margin scheme Ā»

It’s surprising that no PROs have talked about this before, it seems quite advantageous!
If someone is on this plan, they can have certain items as Ā« profit margin Ā» and others that are not, is that right? Depending on whether they have an invoice or not.

I need to think about how to support this. We need to be able to enter the purchase price of an item so that Clemz can calculate the profit… which is planned for later but not for a few weeks given the list of improvements I have to make!

It’s truly surprising, I thought most professional sellers on Vinted in France operated under the margin scheme. (Given that it’s a platform where mostly second-hand items are sold)

Yes, only used items can be resold (the majority with exceptions), but this does not apply to new or refurbished, restored items, etc.

Implementing a simple option like Ā« application of the VAT margin scheme Ā» on the invoice would already save time and avoid having to add it yourself on each sales invoice, as well as removing the VAT calculation from the selling price because it is not applicable.

Hello,
Is there a plan to add a feature that allows automatically re-listing a sold item? (very useful for professionals who sell items in quantity). Thank you :folded_hands:

@Lucile the problem I described previously is resolved :+1:. It was enough to log back into your Vinted account via Vinted.com and not Vinted.fr.

A very large part of the pros are mainly VAT exempt so they don’t worry about it, especially in the second-hand market. It seems to me that your VAT threshold is much lower than ours (it was cited to justify the attempt to lower it for us)

I had already mentioned it in some of my answers on the subject. The difficulty is that you have to justify your purchase prices (difficult to get a receipt for an item bought for 50 cents at a garage sale, for example).

That would indeed be a great addition (I’m concerned) but on the other hand, it’s against Vinted’s Terms and Conditions (they are quite annoying). Now I specify in some listings that I have several copies because we even lose sales on things that buyers would have liked to buy in multiple copies. This morning, for example, I sold a Playmobil in three copies to the same customer. Last night a buyer bought back a plush toy she had already bought last week and if she had known, she would have taken 2 directly. But hey, as usual, you have to improvise.

It is possible to do this in My Sales > Settings > Billing Details
There is a customizable field Ā« Comment (below the total) Ā» where you can put whatever you want.

For VAT calculation, simply state that your company is not subject to VAT (also in My Sales > Settings > Professional Status) and Clemz will not add VAT.

I will add this to the Ā« inventory management Ā» project I have planned after finalizing the sales part

Indeed! Very relevant remarks from you! :folded_hands:
