Hello,
When I went to pick up my package at the collection point, the shopkeeper told me that the packages were not in the lockers but in his stock.
He asked me for the code and I gave it to him. He came back 3 minutes later telling me he didn’t have it.
I realized afterwards that it was the pickup code that I had given him.
I have not yet received an email saying that the package has been collected.
Just in case, is there a procedure to have the pickup code renewed? Or any action to take with Vinted?
Thank you in advance for your answers.
To answer you, can you first tell us which carrier between Mondial Relay, Vinted Go, Relais Colis…
And then, technically, if he found nothing and entered no code on his terminal, he should not have any problems. Otherwise, you can go back tomorrow with the email and all the information you have.
Hello, this is a Vinted package delivered by Mondial Relay.
The shopkeeper told me that he had the package at the relay point with just the code, which is what makes me suspicious now.
If I understand correctly, you suspect the merchant will use the code for the locker pickup to steal a package from you?
Not necessarily, I just don’t want the package to disappear into thin air.
I’m replying a bit to your answer, but if the package is at the merchant’s, there is no locker for Mondial Relay, either it’s delivered to a relay point, so at the merchant’s (so no pickup code) (he does it on his terminal). And the pickup code is only for lockers. And at worst, the merchant has to scan a QR code or ask for a signature.
In that case, I don’t have a QR code, so will it just be a signature?
Okay, I’ll wait. I got confirmation from the Mondial Relay hotline that the package is at the merchant’s, so we’ll see tomorrow.
Thanks for your answers ![]()
