Uncollected parcel and tracking not updated

I have looked at other topics, but none seem to match my problem.

I sold a lot of two pairs of shoes in May. The package arrived at the pickup point on 05/19, and the buyer did not collect it.

On May 29, I received an email from Chronopost (shop2shop delivery) indicating that the package was not collected and would be returned to me. It also stated I would receive a notification when the package was available for pickup at the relay point, with a tracking link.

When I click on the tracking link, it’s the same tracking link as my shipment. I looked at the details and saw that on 05/27 at 00:05, the instance ended. Then another update, still on 05/27 at 16:22, indicating that the package was handed over to the driver. Finally, a last update, still on 05/27 at 16:23 (so 1 minute later), indicating that the package was redeposited at the same pickup point (the buyer’s one) and that a notification message was sent to the recipient.

I contacted Chronopost on June 3, who told me it must have been a bug, but that the package should have been picked up by then. They said that since Vinted is the shipper, they should be the ones to contact them. I then contacted Vinted via the help center and also via the email address legal@vinted.fr on June 3 as well. No response since then.

On Vinted, the status hasn’t changed. The package has been marked as

Just wait for the package to be returned to you, the buyer will be refunded as soon as you receive it
With Shop2Shop, I’ve experienced 2 types of returns.
Directly in my mailbox or at the pickup point where I had dropped it off (with notification)

I already had a case where I received the package in my mailbox (so the items), and the order was still « your package has arrived Â» on Vinted (for almost 2 weeks).
I couldn’t indicate that I had received the return (Button), for the refund to be made to the customer.
So I sent several messages to the buyer, but she remained silent (besides, she hadn’t collected the package)

In the meantime, I had put the items back on sale, and sold them…

update: the package ended up arriving, I worried for nothing, thanks again for the response anyway :wink:
