Vinted systematically compensates the buyer and seller after a month and a half. However, buyers are unhappy, and I have to handle all the customer service.
Are you experiencing the same problem, or is this a local issue? (Loire-Atlantique department)
Do you know what could be causing this? For packages and labels, I do the same as with other carriers. I’m starting to think that it’s probably the delivery person who is keeping my packages. I even had a customer who received a different item in my packaging…
Compensation is automatic if the package was not found empty, fortunately. However, the buyer must report the problem once Vinted has confirmed that the package is lost. Otherwise, only the seller is compensated and the sale is finalized, which risks a one-star review.
In the South, it was the Chronopost delivery drivers who had a feast this summer! Their latest gift was a pair of Gucci on my account. I have banned Chronopost from my carriers. Vinted go insures the value up to 500 euros. This is not the case for other carriers who strictly apply the limitation of liability of the freight forwarder to the SDR (= a pittance per kilo).
Hello, same for me, 3 packages deposited in the lockers in the 93 on the same day, Sunday 08/10, and collected by the delivery driver on 08/11, then no more tracking at all… What bothers me is that one of them isn’t even marked as collected…
Continuing the story… The number of lost packages this summer was really very high.
Fortunately, Vinted compensated the customers and compensated me as well.
BUT UNFORTUNATELY, today my account has been permanently banned because of this (I imagine, given the banning message).
We have noticed recurring activity on this account, strongly suggesting an abuse of our delivery features.
As this is contrary to our General Terms and Conditions, we have had to permanently ban this Vinted account.
This measure is necessary to prevent further abuse and maintain the same quality of service for all our members.

I have just submitted an appeal with proof of deposit (I film the shipments). But the appeal was refused and the decision upheld…
I can only access my wallet in September and August. In those two months alone, I had 31 compensated packages. I think we are around fifty, counting the previous months and packages lost in transit.
I understand that it seems suspicious to them, but it’s not my fault.
It’s crazy, because out of hundreds of shipments, I’ve never had any losses with Vinted Go. Perhaps with flat, dense, and somewhat heavy packages, it’s obvious they are books and not high-end shoes, and therefore not of interest to thieves…
The only time I used VintedGo, I sent a small lamp. I put the package in the locker, 3 days later the locker was declared empty by the delivery person.
Buyer refunded then 10 days later I rechecked the tracking, and magically the package was out for delivery. Vinted didn’t want to know and told me to manage the payment directly with the buyer… since then, no trust.
This year I had two packages lost by Vinted Go.
The first was a package that the buyer did not go to pick up. No more news, I had forgotten about it, when I went to check the transaction for tracking, it had been completely erased.
The second was last week. But in the end, it suited me well, some items that I had trouble selling, I was reimbursed and the buyer took them back directly. Plus, a very nice customer.
This is really ridiculous, your situation! I hope they unblock you, that’s the least they can do… After all the money we bring them, no consideration, no possible dialogue, it’s truly a disgrace.
I spent my day arguing with their ban, instead of being productive on something else.
But never again with Mondial Relay lockers, I had the problem once and it seems recurrent on the internet!
You open a locker to drop off, sometimes there’s already a package inside, you receive a package, you open the locker, it’s empty but since the locker was opened, it’s reported as if the package had been taken…
Now I drop off all my packages at partner shops for Mondial Relay and that way I’ve never had any issues on my end, but I do grit my teeth when I see the final destination as « LOCKER ».
