Package sent on July 4th, stuck since July 9th and ZERO news.
A pair of sandals for 160 euros and everyone doesn’t care!
I’m told that we have to wait 25 BUSINESS DAYS which brings us to August 8th!!!
Is this a joke???
Yes, unfortunately, that’s how it is… and I understand your stress because it’s happened to me several times too.
It’s really difficult to get reliable information from Vinted, especially when the package is blocked or there are no more updates.
On my end, I always ended up getting reimbursed, but it required patience and following up with customer service. They are really strict with their 25-day deadline, so they often don’t act before that.
What you can do in the meantime is contact the carrier directly (Chronopost, Mondial Relay, etc.) to try and get more information. Sometimes, this unblocks the situation or pushes them to react.
Otherwise, you’ll unfortunately have to wait for the date given by Vinted, and contact them again precisely on that day.
Good luck
I hope it gets resolved quickly!
Hello, I refuse all carriers that do not sufficiently compensate for luxury or high-end items (Mondial Relay, Chronopost, etc.). 1: The delivery drivers help themselves. 2: The delivery drivers do not take care of the package because neither they nor the transport company have anything to lose. On the other hand, a carrier with a signature or Vinted Go that compensates up to 500 euros will be more reliable. For higher amounts, you should not sell on Vinted.
Chronopost refuses to search for a package, I understand that my package will never be found.
As for Vinted, this is the first and last time.
However, I refuse to be the scapegoat and I will not let this go.
How can I file a complaint against Vinted?
There are no carriers that compensate on Vinted other than their locker, or not even in my dreams will I send it.
I wonder how you manage to be positive.
Don’t kid yourself, a month and a half wait and I will never find him again.
Oh my goodness, I would never send an item at that price on Vinted!! Go to Vestiaire Collective, it costs money, but in the end, you’ll get your money’s worth. Another negative point for the site.
If you’re doing that, you’re still hoping ![]()
I sell on Vestiaire Collective normally, I wanted to try Vinted, big mistake.
And if it’s to make negative remarks, it’s useless sir
I am not pretending to be positive, just realistic. If you come looking for help here, a minimum of respect and openness would not be too much. For my part, I will no longer take the time to respond in this kind of context.
Here I am looking for help and a way to retrieve my package, not to hear that I shouldn’t have sold on Vinted.
So yes it is useless
I understand better now why you chose a nickname like HoneyMilkFlower… but you’ll need to think about updating it: no sweetness, no honey, no flower in your exchanges. Just bitterness.
Good luck with your endeavors despite everything — but for the rest, it will be without me.
Hello,
Thank you @Giuliano69 for this valuable help!
@Fleurdelaitmiel We are each doing our best to help you, with our experience, but we are not Vinted and everyone shares their experience, with kindness and mutual help.
Regarding the initial subject, indeed you have to wait for the deadline to get compensation. I have always had a refund on my end as well, but you have to be patient. Contacting the carrier is a good idea. Sometimes the package also gets unstuck in the meantime. I had this case again 1 month ago.
I have sold items for over €200 on Vinted and it goes very well too. Let’s not generalize from certain cases ![]()
0- Remain polite, we took the trouble to answer you.
1- It’s not by being aggressive that you’ll find help.
2- Nobody will do the job for you.
3- Already your first post written in large letters with all caps.
4- We didn’t do anything to you: if you’re angry, it’s not our fault.
5- Everyone doesn’t care? yes and no, it’s your problem, and if you piss off the people who answer you, you’re unlikely to get what you want.
6 - Conclusion: sort it out yourself, and I’m remaining polite.
Thanks for the support ![]()
Intelligence also means not repeating mistakes. So, warning about valuable items with Vinted seems like good advice to me. And even if it weren’t, we try to give you advice or tips because you asked for them. We’re not the Spice Girls; we can’t summon spirits and make your package appear. Package losses (or disappearances/thefts) are recurrent. Therefore, you need to know the compensation conditions of the different carriers, which have limitations of liability, how they work, their deadlines, their hubs, etc. Good luck (and patience).
I’ve even received a package almost a month after it was sent! I had given up hope! One day, a message: your package is waiting for you at the pickup point. You never know
In psychology, there’s a phenomenon called projection: when a person accuses you of something, they are often talking about themselves. I felt that from the very first post.
There are also those who believe everything is owed to them.
There’s also the scapegoat: blaming others for one’s problems.
etc.
It’s good to know and recognize these, even as a seller, because over time you’ll see them coming and it avoids a lot of trouble. And in life too.
Let’s not add fuel to the fire, the subject is closed.
Let’s all go back to cordial & serene exchanges ![]()
