Code and QR CODE not received - Shop2shop Chronopost

Hello,

I received my Vinted package in a Shop2shop Chronopost locker on Wednesday 07/30/25.

When I am in front of the locker, it asks me for a code or a QR CODE. But I haven’t received anything… Vinted tells me to wait 24 hours (done) and check my SPAM (done).

When I call the Shop2shop platform, it does not recognize the tracking number that Vinted gives me in the discussion with the seller…

And now the seller is accusing me of being a scammer because it’s the first time this has happened to them, that I’m lying to them, and that I must have received a notification with a code.

It’s a football t-shirt that I ordered to please my son and not to be seen as a scammer :frowning:

Do you know how I can proceed, please?

Hello

This has never happened to me before, but a couple of things come to mind…

First… check the carrier’s tracking via the transaction (the small blue link in the Vinted tracking box). You might find another tracking number recognized by Shop 2 Shop, or even the actual code directly…

Also, check my contact details (email and phone number) to see if they are correct, so I know where to look.

Otherwise, I hope you get other answers

Unfortunately, no other tracking number was given.

And my Vinted details are correct.

Hello Sarahgoons, I’m in the same situation as you. Notification that my package arrived at the locker on 07/28, but no pickup code or QR code (which I usually receive by SMS and/or email). I contacted Vinted via messaging, and they told me, like you, to wait 24 hours (I’m at 72 hours…) or to check with Chronopost.

I contacted Chronopost: before speaking to an agent, there was a message saying they had IT issues that caused pickup codes not to be sent, but that the situation was resolved, though apparently not for me. And when I spoke to a Chronopost agent, they told me they couldn’t give me a code, that the problem was that my phone number and email address were not associated with the package by Vinted. And that therefore I needed to ask Vinted to do it. I love it, they had an IT issue and I’m the one who has to deal with Vinted.

Anyway, I explained everything in detail to Vinted via messaging. Their response: you need to sort it out with Chronopost.

In short, Chronopost tells me: We can’t help you, check with Vinted. Vinted tells me: We can’t help you, check with Chronopost.

Great.

So far, I’ve remained polite with Chronopost, but that won’t last.

So, here’s an unsolvable situation, my package will be sent back. The last time this happened, I wasn’t even refunded, what a joy.

How funny, it’s 2026, and it’s still the same problem. Chronopost and Vinted are passing the buck, I’ve spent over 4 hours on the phone with Chronopost. Why do things the simple way when you can make them complicated.

The package left abroad with DPD, they are quickly reachable and took the time to check if everything had been transmitted and even find the situation quite complicated when all they need to do is resend a code since they have my details from previous packages and the phone number is displayed.

Vinted has opened a claim and is conducting an investigation

I feel like I’m going to lose money again…

But for the principle, I won’t give up.
