Account Restricted 3 days

Hello,

My account has been restricted for 3 days due to a republication by Clemz for « duplicate ». Do you have any advice on how to avoid this in the future?

We agree that Clemz republishes and then deletes the old announcement? If so, is that why I was restricted for a double announcement? Is there a way to work around this to prevent it from happening again?

Thank you for your answers.

Hello, many of us are experiencing this issue. I’ve had 2 suspensions of 3 days each in 1 week for the same reason!

It would be cool to fix this problem because it’s a shame to pay for a Clemz subscription and get banned for a republication.

Hello,

So we would need to investigate your case to understand what happened because Clemz does not publish anything until the old listing is removed. And that has not changed for months.

However, Vinted has probably changed how it detects « duplicates. » Is its bot mistaken? Does it take into account recently deleted listings? We need to dig into this…

Hello,

In this case, Vinted has changed its detection method. Clems uploaded my items as usual, and right after uploading a pair of jeans, I instantly received a message from Vinted for a duplicate (for the jeans), and they restricted my account for 3 days. I contested it, of course, lol, but I don’t think it will help… Anyway, to tell you that yes, in my opinion, we need to investigate because many will have their accounts restricted just like me. Moreover, in 3 days, once my account is unblocked, I don’t even know if I can use Clems again, I’m afraid of being banned permanently.

I am in the same situation and don’t know what to do anymore!

Here’s what I found

yes but if clemz deletes the ad before republishing it, how does it detect it? also, for your information, I put a 60-second break between each article

Unfortunately, I have no answer.

Me too 3 suspensions in one week

We started collecting the different testimonies with Lucile.

We’ll make a Forum post tonight to share some elements and launch the discussion in a centralized way.

Our quick analysis: potentially Vinted detects « catalog duplicates » that aren’t:frowning:
More information coming soon.

Here’s a clue, Vinted also reads the text, it’s not just the photos!

Interesting to read and apparently true but it is also an advertisement.

Yes, I saw it afterwards! But it confirms the trend of Vinted bans.

Article likely written by AI or by who knows who. I won’t give it too much credibility

in my opinion, the time between 2 ad republications should be increased to a minimum of 1 minute…

Hello,

This is my first time participating. I myself have just undergone a restriction (no posting or editing of ads for 5 days) due to a duplicate ad.

I had mistakenly launched a Clemz republication, which I abruptly interrupted by mistake (normally I interrupt during the interval between two ads, which I have set to 30 seconds). This caused the ad to appear as a draft, which I mistakenly tried to publish when it was actually already present, it seems.

This had happened to me occasionally before without any damage other than the deletion of the ad, but this morning, a temporary block occurred.

Here is my feedback,

Have a good week!

I just got almost the same as you, a 5-day ban, it’s outrageous!

We are discussing these restrictions for « duplicates » in this thread: Campagne "anti-doublon" de Vinted - état des lieux (19.03.2026)

I advise you to read my first post which explains the situation a bit…

I will modify the functioning of Clemz so that this does not happen again. I am releasing a version on this subject this week
