I have just been blocked by Vinted for commercial reasons, even though I became a professional seller for commercial reasons. Following everyone’s advice, I sent several emails to legal@vinted.fr, but each time I received the same response:
« After conducting a thorough investigation, it appears that your appeal has already been reviewed twice and has been rejected each time. We want to assure you that we have carefully examined the situation. However, we must adhere to our initial decision. »
What else can I do? I’ve seen that some people have been unblocked, but were their arguments the same as mine?
Should I keep sending emails? Several times a day? With the same email or different ones?
Is it possible to create another Vinted account? If so, how? Does using a VPN really work?
The purpose… Despite all possible appeals, there is no other option than to wait for the unblocking… they reply that they are sorry, that they can do nothing… in short, a lot of time wasted for nothing…
So be careful, at Vinted, « Business Reason » has its own meaning. It’s either the exclusive sale of new items they don’t want, or if they consider that you are selling in bulk by sourcing from wholesalers (several times the same item in different sizes, for example, or several identical listings).
Ok, thank you! I have one last question: do you only have items from the same category in your closet (e.g., books), or do I absolutely need to include some « fake listings » from other categories so as not to be noticed?
Basically, I have several categories for sale (toys, video games, movies, etc.) so there’s no real need to play with that, therefore I don’t know if it’s useful. And it can happen that depending on opportunities I put things in other categories, even if I try to stay consistent with what I sell (like if I come across glasses but more in the style of pop culture goodies, or books on universes that can be close to what I sell, etc.).
On the other hand, I’ve loaded up on used items so as not to be bothered. At the back of my closet, you have hundreds of DVDs for €1 lying around in boxes in my garage. Haven’t had a problem since with commercial sales issues.
Ok, thank you very much for these answers and tips, I didn’t want to « pollute » my professional account too much, but indeed it seems to be the right solution. Thank you!!
I am preparing a criminal complaint against Vinted on this subject but also on several other subjects such as fraud, attempted fraud, forgery and the use of forged documents, and social security contribution fraud (Vinted’s) and French VAT fraud. You can send me private messages which will be added to my referral directly to the dean of investigating judges (which makes the procedure mandatory). Furthermore, after 2 years of investigation on individuals and professionals because I had both versions. I am also finalizing a complete PRESS file. This will make noise. And I am also working on a national petition submitted on the National Assembly website to compel marketplaces to have a customer service accessible by phone and based in France. All this by the end of the year
