Return to sender but it is in the recipient's name

I dropped off a package on 07/01 at a drop-off point that did not scan it correctly (received instead of shipped)

Since then, I’ve been struggling with Shop2Shop Chronopost; the package traveled all over the place and was returned to me on 07/21, but I can’t pick it up because it’s still registered under the recipient’s name!

The recipient doesn’t seem willing to send me a proxy with a copy of their ID

Do you have a solution?

Thanks in advance and have a great day everyone :sunflower:

to wait, it will ultimately be « not delivered » and will then be marked as « returned to sender »

Thanks, but I’m the original sender!

Yes … hence the « return to sender. »

It’s normal that you can’t retrieve it, you are not the recipient. This is a common mistake with the Chronopost scanner.

Thanks again, but what’s going to happen to my package?

I also questioned Vinted, but it’s the AI that answers  even though they tell me I’ve been put in touch with a human

Either it will remain at the pickup point and just change status

Or it will be returned to a sorting center and then sent back to the pickup point

Last possibility that sometimes happens, it is delivered to your home

It will be returned directly to your mailbox.
He is right @Gametoysretro
It simply takes a lot of time.
You just have to be patient

You will receive an email from ChronoPost indicating that your package will be returned to the same pickup point, but often they will put it in your mailbox (if the package fits).

it’s random, sometimes I had it the next day, but it can also take 3 weeks.
