Package delivered to pickup point but notified as return to sender by Vinted

Hi everyone, I have a problem with one of my packages from Relais Colis. It’s marked as delivered, but according to Vinted, this same package couldn’t be delivered within the timeframe and has been returned to me.

The buyer contacted me, assuring me she doesn’t understand because, according to her, she never received a notification that her package was available. When she went to the pickup point, she was told there was never a package in her name.

This isn’t the first transaction with this buyer, and deliveries have always gone to this same pickup point without any issues. So, I’m inclined to believe her account for now, but it still poses a problem, and I’m not sure what to do.

Have you ever experienced this kind of situation? Any advice or opinions?

Hi everyone
Latest update from Vinted after I sent them a message and provided all the information I could.
They initially replied that for them the delivery was correctly made and that they were finalizing the transaction themselves. Which they did.
10 minutes after finalizing the transaction, it was marked as suspended and pending verification.

Thank you for keeping us informed! I’ve never had this happen, but if it ever does, at least we’ve seen this time that Vinted reverses its decision.

Vinted sent me a message. They have reversed their decision because the buyer is not okay.

I provided them with all the documents I had in my possession to prove my good faith. They are conducting their investigation and contacting the carrier.

On her end, the buyer also sent me a message to inform me that the money has been debited from her account, but she has not received the items she ordered. The total value is around one hundred euros.

Now, all that’s left is to wait and cross my fingers!!

No worries, I’ll post the rest but I don’t have high hopes. Vinted isn’t exactly known for its logic and kindness!

Hi everyone, some news about my story: Vinted just finalized the sale in my favor, however, the buyer does not have her package.

I didn’t get details on their decision, but apparently they determined that the buyer picked up her package since it’s marked as delivered to the recipient. This is the only reason Vinted gave her, without leaving her any recourse.

I’m not sure how they proceed, but if they conducted an investigation, it was quick, and the buyer is disgusted!!
