Blocking people using go vinted

From 2025, I am forced to get rid of many accessories and clothes. The condition is not to go through VINTED GO because there are very few lookers and they are full. They use this formula because there are no fees.
I am sick and can barely travel to another city, and I am insulted because of my condition.
So I have to lower my prices so that buyers choose Mondial Relay.

Hello :tulip:

If I understand correctly, you would like to block people using Vinted Go?

Well, no, that is not possible, it is the sender from the platform itself so I doubt that will become possible.

On the other hand, if you could not travel, or the locker is far away, why not ask someone around you to help you with your package shipments? Perhaps by giving them a small percentage for their participation. This could help you, and allow you to accept sales, and avoid conflicts with buyers, who are entitled to ask to use Vinted Go.

This is a solution, assuming it is possible for you. Otherwise, unfortunately, you may have to change platforms, obviously. It’s a shame.

Sorry, I have no one around me, I am retired and alone like many with a meager pension; if I take a taxi, I lose money and the closest people work… unfortunately many platforms only take luxury clothing. Mine are ordinary mail-order clothes.

I understand your position. :star2:

Why not sell clothes in bulk on Le Bon Coin, with only in-person pickup? People would come to where you want, you could make a small profit, depending on your lots and your offers, but it would be more practical for you.

Personally, I sometimes look for lots of clothes/accessories to resell, but it helps people who want to get rid of them, who don’t want to send packages and deal with buyer offers. This could make your task easier.

Have a nice day :tulip:

Hello - On each of your listings, you could indicate that you cannot deliver via Vinted Go.

It’s not that simple. If a buyer wants to cause trouble, even if you specify it in the listing, nothing prevents them from going through Vinted Go. Furthermore, if you cancel the sale, you risk an automatic negative review. So, simply stating it in the listing doesn’t change how Vinted works/its regulations, and the buyer remains within their rights, unlike the seller who is just bypassing the delivery method. Personally, I don’t think this is a REAL solution.

It’s a risk to take, but a small one in my opinion. Personally, I’ve never had a delivery request via Vinted Go yet.
