I’m here today to share a little tip that I’ve been using for a few months now and that seems to be working quite well for me.

Regarding VintedGo, besides the fact that it’s the worst package delivery service ever, it can be convenient because many sales are made thanks to the low shipping costs. And, since I started sending with VintedGo in October, I’ve noticed that the lockers are always full, or even with several packages in the compartments, and often the compartments are always occupied except for the very thin ones which are less used because packages rarely fit.

So, for some time now, not knowing if the person has a VintedGo locker or a drop-off point, I’ve decided to only pack in the thinnest and most flexible packages possible. And, for some time now, my packages have been arriving faster and are no longer being held up for so long waiting for an available locker.
It’s a small tip, but it can help, especially with VintedGo which doesn’t help with our shipments.

I’m posting here for lack of a better thread.

For the first time, I was in front of the VintedGo locker at the same time as the delivery person. The locker was full, so I waited for him to empty it to place my packages.

And I noticed, while observing the retrieval of shipped packages, that a considerable number of lockers were empty! Out of the 29 lockers opened in front of me for package drop-off, there were 8 with nothing inside. Besides, the delivery person’s interface has a « locker is empty » option :slight_smile: And the delivery person wasn’t surprised at all.

I wonder how there can be so many errors, whether it’s people closing the locker without putting anything in it, or logical errors, with the machine declaring this or that locker occupied for some mysterious reason.

I like VintedGo. I’ve never experienced the problems I read about here or elsewhere. And the number of pickup points has exploded. Last year, I had 3 lockers and a walking-distance pickup point. Now, it’s gone up to 4 lockers and no less than 4 stores.

As long as you are not concerned about the size of the lockers, it generally goes well.
