Vinted ban: how to create a new account?

Hello,

My Vinted account has been permanently blocked and I filed an appeal today, the same day.

I’m thinking about creating a new account and I’m waiting for a new SIM card to avoid reusing the same number. On the other hand, I have a question about the IBAN: is it better to use a new one or have some people managed to use their old one without any issues?

I admit I’m a bit lost, especially since I was finally starting to sell well… and I had even paid for a showcase boost which is now useless.

For those who manage multiple accounts, how do you do it practically? Multiple devices or just one? Private browsing, VPN, or another method?

And with a Livebox, is it complicated because of the same IP address?

Thanks in advance for your feedback and advice :folded_hands:

With two accounts (only): no IP sharing concerns. Vinted now admits that multiple people can live in the same place. I use different browsers on the same computer. I have given up on having alerts from one of the accounts on my phone.

Thank you very much for your response and your feedback :folded_hands:

That already reassures me a bit about the IP. And so, for the IBAN, did you keep the same one on both accounts or did you use a different one?

I have two different IBANs. I would be surprised, however, if having the same one posed a problem, because as I understand it, only the payment provider Mangopay keeps the IBANs. But I could be wrong.

Thank you very much for your response and for these clarifications :folded_hands:

I still think I will go with another IBAN for security, even though what you say seems logical with Mangopay. Thank you anyway for taking the time to reply to me.

And regarding the ID verification, were there no issues with the same identity card?

I once put my passport, the other time my national ID card.

Hello

In the same situation and not sure if my appeal will be successful, I still have a question: for a personal account, shouldn’t I put my tax number?

Otherwise, how do those who create accounts regularly manage? Do they stop before reaching a certain amount?

I’m not a dishonest person, but I’m being treated like one by this site!

Vinted acting like God and having no respect for us mere mortals, having the power of life or death over our accounts, whether we are individuals or professionals, we have to manage as best we can?!

So, I’m open to any « tips and tricks »

The tax number is only requested after a certain number of sales, not when creating the account.
I also wonder how sellers with ten or more accounts manage. It’s difficult to get a testimony.
