I opened a pro account in July (I have a personal one for selling damaged items and personal things) and I only sell new items on the pro account. And if I understood correctly… that’s where I went wrong → so a 5-day ban. Just before the final Christmas rush… but I’m already happy with my month and I’m tired → forced rest. But to properly get my account back and avoid a permanent ban, I need to post used item listings (I have plenty of mini puzzles so… that will reduce the rate of new items. And after that, I’ll be less at risk knowing that I sell imported goods but products sold in France and everything is declared. But should I be vigilant about other things?
Either you need to list your items as « Very good condition » or have used items in parallel. Advice: once you get your account back, keep a low profile for a while (no new listings, don’t post too many new listings).

For 12 items, don’t take any risks and delete your listings, then recreate them by modifying them. I had just changed the condition and it worked (but I had hundreds to do), but other people weren’t so lucky, so it’s best not to take any risks for so few.
Afterward, I had posted hundreds of listings as « used » and then gradually switched my listings back to « new. » Since then, I haven’t had any more problems with it.
When does your suspension end? Can you tell me please how your « return » went? my account is no longer restricted starting tomorrow but for now I don’t dare to republish for fear of being banned, even by posting second-hand items.
As I was saying above, take it easy. Start by putting in used items, if you have quite a few, put them all in before tackling new ones. That’s how it worked for me.
Good evening, I recovered my account this morning, I will start tomorrow morning before work to list many used books as recommended by gametoysretro with 1 or 2 new items but which will be in the very good condition category. I have 2 clients waiting, knowing that I have about 50 books, so I think it will be quite good.
I am writing to document the advice of Gametoysretro a bit, and I also use ChatGPT to create the listings. A bit in the morning, a bit in the evening… it’s hard because I want to start over with renewed vigor, but the goal is to leave the surveillance zone.
@Gametoysretro are you currently only publishing new items and keeping the very good condition ones at the bottom of your wardrobe, or do you alternate conditions in your publications?
I almost exclusively post new items, despite having hundreds of used items listed. When I have time, I add used items because I still have quite a few things to get rid of, but with Christmas, I haven’t posted any for months.
