Delete a Pro account to create a new one after threat of blocking

Hello,

My Vinted account has just been unblocked after 7 days of suspension, but I no longer dare to post anything because it says « next time, the block will be permanent ».

My question: is it possible to delete my Pro account and create a new one to « start over »?

And, in theory, could this pattern (delete/recreate) be repeated several times if necessary?

Thank you in advance for your feedback.

I don’t want to tell you nonsense, but it seems to me that Vinted keeps everything in memory for a certain time, so you won’t be able to recreate an account with the same SIRET.

Otherwise, why not rather look into the reason for this blocking and ensure that it doesn’t happen again? There are still quite a few tricks that allow you to avoid being bothered.

That’s what I was thinking, but that’s if they’re the ones blocking us, right?

If I delete my account myself before the definitive block, I won’t be able to create another one?

Because they blocked me for « commercial sales » but I don’t know what they’re basing that on, I put my items in very good condition, I change my ads, my photos…

After requesting my personal data from Vinted, I see that I have been flagged since July 2025, all the time. I’m in shock, I admit, and disgusted. That’s why I got my first sanction for no reason in August, then the second one this month. People are profoundly evil.

I can’t know, but it seems risky to try.

Otherwise, I get the impression that there are more and more sanctions because of these mass reports, especially in the clothing sector, given the feedback I see.

« Commercial sales » on Vinted means selling new items in bulk and sourcing from wholesalers.

I feel doomed, now, if I am the target of a malicious person, since Vinted is blocking my account and not theirs. It’s abusive, I sent an email to vinted@vinted.fr, to service@vinted.fr, as well as to legal@vinted.es.

On my end, I’ll see if I can delete my account and create a new one with the same Siret… even if it means losing my 3000 positive reviews, it’s my only way out because I can’t lose Vinted :downcast_face_with_sweat:

Reports, if unfounded, generally have no impact. If your photos are different and you are everywhere in « very good condition, » there is normally no penalty.

and do not delete it, as you will not be able to create another one. Once the SIRET number is used, you will not be able to reuse it, unless you change the company type and have a new SIRET number.

Yes, I take photos every time + I put it in very good condition… maybe the ad title can’t be the same as an item already sold?

Ok, forget about deleting the account then :downcast_face_with_sweat:

no normally the title doesn’t pose a problem. You really need to have one photo per item size (if you sell clothes, for example)

what is the reason for the flagging? and how often?

When there are a certain number of them at once, there can be a temporary block or account restriction, meaning only followers or those who have favorited items can still see them, which leads to a significant drop in sales. Generally, they take 48 hours to remove it, but visibility takes several days to return to normal. In short, you generally have to count a week lost, and for a professional, that’s huge, so it’s quite annoying when these are actually fake reports. But it’s clearly visible with data downloads; the block occurs a few minutes after a sudden wave of reports.

The problem also comes from groups that form on social networks to target accounts with the aim of getting them shut down. The other day, I saw someone who had a completely crazy report of massive reports; basically, she had tens of them in 2/3 minutes and across several pages (so probably hundreds almost at once). Obviously, the Vinted bot will think it has stumbled upon a clandestine account of a Russian mafia.
There is a big problem with this.

the jealousy of the world… People don’t like others who succeed :frowning:

You will lose your SIRET number if you delete your account.

And indeed, there are groups forming on social networks to denounce accounts, make mass reports… of course, sometimes it leads to temporary or permanent blocking. What is surprising is that we can sometimes see several reports at the same time to the second (is the use of bots possible?).

What did Vinted reply?

that was the case in the example I gave above.
In my opinion, they coordinate to attack the account at the same time and the reports cross paths. That must be what sets the bot off.

The reason is « mass selling » on September 11, and my account was blocked on the night of the same day for « commercial selling »…

I have just contacted them to report a massive abuse of reporting, I will give you their response as soon as I have it

How are people!!

But how do you get this information? I imagine it’s not displayed publicly?

It’s really disgusting anyway. Some people only have this to live on, it’s their full-time job! It disgusts me.

There have always been haters and there always will be, but what I find absurd is that Vinted does nothing to protect honest sellers.

In the settings, you can request your data, and then you will have a file with the reports made against you and the date, but you will not have the person or people involved.

I was talking about the reporting groups that are being set up on social media
