Vinted has hidden several of my listings, claiming I am selling for commercial purposes. If I don’t remove these items, they will block my account for 14 days and ask me to go professional.
Has anyone encountered this situation before? How can I get around it, as I don’t want to go professional? I feel like Vinted detected me because I reposted many listings last week without modification, as they were apparently not detected before.
Thank you for your help, as I don’t want to go professional and I had to delete half of my items, which has led to a drop in sales.
Hello
Perhaps already suspend new publications for a while
Directly eliminate new items with tags
Also eliminate items that are too similar
If they are on your back (or a jealous, unhappy, or just uneasy user who reports everything) it is better to lose a few sales than to be blocked…
It means you must have a lot of new items. No need to delete the listings, just mark them as « very good condition ».
However, if you are supplementing your income by reselling new items, be careful with dac7, some people will have unpleasant surprises.
Hello, This has happened to me twice that Vinted has hidden my listings. The second time, I had 67 listings hidden for the same reason: sales for commercial purposes. I deleted the hidden listings, deleted duplicates or what could be considered duplicates, and out of the few listings that remained, I put them all as « good condition ». It has been over a year now and I haven’t had any more problems with this. Good luck!
I wouldn’t even delete the listings, I’d just switch them to Good condition, wait for the monitoring period to end, a little longer, and then put them back to New as I went along, and it worked perfectly. The ideal would be to list used items in parallel to be safe.
Frankly, if you have DVDs, VHS tapes, CDs at home, list them for €5 and no one will buy them, and with these used listings, Vinted’s bot will leave you alone for new items.
