Suspicious announcement of resale of stolen items

Hello,

I was the victim of a car break-in the day before a craft fair. Some of my stock was stolen: I am a craftsperson.

For two days now, my customers have been sending me an ad selling products similar to those that were stolen, and in larger quantities than I sell to individuals.

The only two ways to have this quantity are:

  1. To buy them as a professional: which is not the case. There are no resellers in Belgium or the north of France, and I haven’t sold any of the colors to professionals.
  2. To steal them from my workshop or during a festival.

I have other questionable elements regarding this ad.

Therefore, I have several « pieces of evidence » that this person is dealing in stolen goods from me, but Vinted refuses to do anything.

I have, of course, informed the police station where I filed a complaint, but meanwhile, she is selling… I am waiting to hear from them, but without much hope.

How can I convince Vinted to believe me and not her? I have proof and I am acting in good faith!

I know I won’t get my stock back, but I at least want to stop her from selling!

Thank you for your help :folded_hands::folded_hands:

Silly question, sorry if it’s obvious: did you send a copy of your complaint to Vinted?

Perhaps by explaining that they are becoming accomplices to receiving stolen goods (if that exists in law).

ChatGPT is very good for drafting an email with a legal tone, making it a formal notice.
