Vinted under attack in UK

Finally Vinted are being given bad press in the UK - for all the customer service & AI problems we see here regularly.

A few months ago, There is a British vinted pro user who made a site named sadvintedfaces.com to collect reviews and stories from people being banned on Vinted, after she was unfairly banned with no response from vinted. These last few weeks she has had a lot of publicity and she is now on the big TV stations and newspapers talking about the AI system, unfair / illegal bans and the lack of response from Vinted. It is currently a big news story in the UK.

I thought this news would be a relief to see for many people on here! Hopefully she will put enough pressure for some change to come…

Yes, things are heating up for them in the UK and across the Commonwealth

The complaints concern the automated management of bans, and it is on this point that Uber has just been fined a huge amount

There are so many legal provisions where they are borderline.

This week I have a client who could not exercise their right of withdrawal, and it was due to my error, so I find myself doing their after-sales service and refunding the buyer (even the shipping costs and Vinted fees because it’s my fault)
