Account blocked with no possibility to contest

I had been using Vinted for a year and was quite satisfied with it. Around a hundred 5-star reviews. Until the day I had a dispute with a very aggressive seller. I reported him and I think he took revenge by using another account; he flagged one of my items as fake without even buying it. Obviously, without proof. As a result, my account has been blocked for a month. With one click of a report, I went from being an excellent seller to a potential scammer. I sent proof of purchase, argued against the decision. The customer service doesn’t respond or loops with AI. They ask me for time. No possibility of appeal. No dialogue. Catastrophic problem management, absent customer service, and apparently I’m not the only one… Are there humans behind Vinted? Is it possible to contact Vinted France? Is there a phone number? A way to write to them? If anyone has any ideas, I don’t know what to do to get my profile back, which only had perfect reviews.

Hello

you can send an email to:

legal@vinted.fr ; dpo@vinted.fr ; vinted@vinted.fr ; vinted@vinted.com ; privacysupport@vinted.fr

And be factual, with a clear message, with photo evidence (item from all angles, equivalent items for sale online, measurements, …) requesting that your case be reviewed and handled by a human, emphasizing that the item is authentic, …

and don’t forget to file a report on signalconso

good luck

Thank you very much, secondhand, that’s very valuable. I will start the process today.

Customer service is a disaster, impossible to speak to a competent human or one who can explain anything, now, on top of that, random account restrictions for mysterious reasons, I just put some of my items up for sale on leboncoin, I’ll look elsewhere because I don’t like Vinted’s methods, too interventionist, it will happen to Vinted as it did to eBay, one day, people left because everything has an end and you shouldn’t annoy people too much. There, sorry, I’m too angry :)) I’ll give them some great publicity on X, actually.

We need to harass them, open as many tickets as possible and send as many emails as possible. The same thing happened to me in January (banned for counterfeiting wrongly), I was unblocked 8 days later, after opening 136 tickets and sending 22 emails to different addresses. Good luck

Not sure I understand what you’re talking about regarding eBay. It’s actually quite sad that the sale of second-hand clothing in Europe isn’t more developed on eBay, because their platform is much more geared towards long-term professional sales. Everything is designed for professionals to have all the necessary tools for a stable and sustainable business, unlike Vinted. In the US and England, eBay is much more developed, and professional sellers are much better off there.

For small sellers like me, eBay worked very well until it didn’t work at all. The commissions started to get greedier and greedier, and one day there were no more customers. I’m not comparing platforms, but situations. By the way, I’m going back to eBay, just in case.

they have always been of the same order, around 10%, or even have decreased in recent years (there is no longer the Paypal commission that made it go up to 12%) and in addition there are all the times offers for individuals to have promos of 60/70% on the commission which makes it ultimately much cheaper than Vinted (for pros it’s something else, we pay but at least we have the tools to work)

Keep us posted… Same situation as you! I don’t know if I should hassle or not, on my end I’ve tried everything, the buyer will always be right.
