Does Vinted recognize my photos posted on other second-hand platforms?

Hello! Before subscribing, I would like to know if it is possible to post photos that I have taken myself, which are good but have already been posted on another platform. I did this in the past and all my articles were rejected. I don’t have the courage to re-shoot all the photos from the articles already shot. If anyone knows if Clems can bypass this problem, that would be great! Thanks for your help! :-))

I post on Leboncoin as well as other sites with the same photos as Vinted, no problem

You just need to be careful about the order. For example, Le Bon Coin puts its name on photos and Vinted doesn’t like it.

Thanks for your reply! But I imagine you post on Vinted first? Because if you post on Vinted first with photos never used on other sites, it’s OK. However, if you have already posted on another platform and then use the same photos for Vinted, it doesn’t work. Vinted thinks you took photos from the Internet and it’s a hassle.

That’s what I thought, if you don’t want to overthink it, you should publish on Vinted first. I don’t think it’s just a question of the Leboncoin labeled photo. I systematically received messages saying that I didn’t have the right to use photos already existing on the Internet. Try explaining to them that I took them myself :sweat_smile:

I really have to try again!! Maybe they’ve calmed down about that. It changes all the time with Vinted. Thank you very much for the advice and the answers. :-))

From eBay to Vinted, I don’t think I’ve had any problems. LBC is systematically refused. Besides, I have white backgrounds so LBC appears very well in the photos.
But so yes, I usually start with Vinted. Since it’s my main platform, I don’t necessarily put things on the others right away.

yes but for a republication, it poses problems for making a new announcement

So indeed, Clemz does not allow you to modify photos when you go from :rocket: Draft => Listing

BUT! I have a fairly simple workaround to suggest:

  1. Create the listing as a draft on Vinted
  2. Save it on clemz.app
  3. Delete it from Vinted (using bulk editing, for example)
  4. Re-import by publishing and modifying photos from clemz.app to Vinted
  5. Enjoy :sunglasses:
