I noticed that Vinted deletes certain listings when they are re-uploaded by clemz.
It’s as if the platform considers re-uploading as a kind of duplicate. However, I put a 70-second interval between re-uploads.
The problem is that once the listing has been deleted by Vinted, it considers that if we re-upload it, we are re-uploading an already deleted listing, so it is flagged again. And we are therefore forced to take a new photo… it’s really inconvenient.
I checked and there were no other photos similar to mine on Vinted, in their catalog, and no, there aren’t any.
So the problem really comes from clemz and the way re-uploads are done.
"We have reason to believe that one or more listings you have posted already exist in our catalog, which is against our Catalog Rules and our Terms and Conditions.
Therefore, we have removed one or more of your listings.
We made this decision because the characteristics of your item indicated that it was a duplicate listing.
Please note that if you continue to violate our Catalog Rules, we will be forced to permanently block your account.
To prevent this from happening, here are a few points to keep in mind:
-
Each item can only be listed once on Vinted.
-
You must use your own photos when adding an item. Using photos from other members or images from the internet is not allowed.
Please make sure to take new photos for all items you list. If you use photos from a deleted listing, we may consider the new listing a duplicate and will have to take action.
To learn more, discover what photos to upload when listing an item.
When we remove a listing that violates our rules, we unfortunately cannot refund paid services like Boost or Wardrobe Spotlight.
Thank you for your understanding,
The Vinted Support Team"
EDIT: I would also add that some photos modified by clemz are now considered « photos taken from the internet by Vinted ». Yet I took the photos myself.
