We have reason to believe that some of your listings contain photos that violate copyright law, which is against our Catalog Rules. Therefore, we had to remove one or more of your listings.
When you list an item on Vinted, you cannot use: Photos from the internet (even with permission) Photos from a stock photo library Screenshots from other websites (except for invoices, which should not be the main or only image of the listing) Photos taken by other members
The owner of these photos could take legal action, which could result in financial penalties.
Instead, use your own photos when listing items on Vinted. If you no longer have the original photo, you can use a screenshot.
We have internal practices, automatic detection tools, and third-party reports to help us identify these types of issues. Using these methods, we carefully evaluate any misuse of the platform and take the necessary actions.
If you repeatedly violate our Catalog Rules, we will have no choice but to suspend your account. Please note that we cannot refund paid services (such as a Boost or a Wardrobe Spotlight) if a listing violates our rules.
In trying to do too well, sometimes, Vinted gets stuck… your photos are very beautiful but look professional, so Vinted must think you’re pulling them from the internet… send them your photos before cropping so they can see that they are indeed your shots
Hello!
Your photos look very professional and can indeed give the impression that you took them at a professional site. And that’s a compliment, despite everything!
So yes, put a plant in each time, you’ll see if it blocks them or not.
You should know that some listings can be rejected months after their first publication. I experienced this a few months ago, listings for figurines that were fine, and one day, they were removed saying they didn’t comply with the rules. Hmm, I suspect competitors are reporting them to annoy me!
As for going professional, that’s up to you. You’ll need to go through the steps to get a SIRET number and all that jazz beforehand!
For me, the problem might be different. Your photos seem to have a plain white background. However, Vinted has not been accepting plain backgrounds for some time.
Less annoying, I don’t know. When I turned pro, it was clearly stated that I had no limit on the number of items to sell. However, « duplicates » are refused. So, if I have the same item 10 times, I have to take 10 different photos. We can sell new items, second-hand items, but we must avoid large quantities because it is tedious work to put them online.
Regarding the solid backgrounds, I hope I won’t have any problems. The last items I took photos of (well, I made do with what I had), but I took them on a bed with a solid gray color.
Hello
I am selling items that belong to me, needles for Singer or other machines. My ad was accepted, there are others for sale, I am correcting rather completing my ad by indicating diameter, length and needle reference. The photos are the same and now my ad is refused even though I just modified it and have no recourse for the modification!!! Others are selling the same items and theirs are accepted…
Unbelievable
