Several times already Vinted has removed items I’ve listed, telling me that the item in question is prohibited on their site. However, by doing some research, I find several similar items, or even, as this time, an identical one. Some listings from other users have been online for months, and mine is simply deleted.
Does anyone know the reason?

I just read the post. However, my situation is different… My article is indeed among those that are prohibited (it’s a cocotte :-)). But there are plenty online, including an identical one, and that’s what’s strange…
Probably someone reporting you, go to privacy settings, manage account data, and make the request, you will have the history of reports on your account
Oh dear… Are there people who do that? Pfff..

@Sonia what photos are you using to post the famous « cocotte » (Dutch oven)? You say there is an identical one for sale on Vinted, are these photos from the web or from the brand of the cocotte that are already used by the other seller and that you also want to use for your listing? In that case, it’s likely why it’s not going through 
The bot recognizes the photos and deletes your listing, I’ve had this problem before

Oh yes, I downloaded my data two days ago and I almost fell over. Tens of reports in a year. Many for « photos taken from the web » when I take my own photos and it takes me a lot of time to work on them. I also had « mass sales », well yes, I’m a professional so I’m not here to make 3 sales a month. They also put « misleading price » on me, I didn’t understand that step. And the best part, I had « sale of real fur » when I sell toys 
Well, it makes me sadder for the people who have nothing else to do than it makes me angry.
These are not my photos, not from the web and not copied.
I filed a complaint and Vinted replied that it was their mistake and they offered me a free bump and that I could re-upload the pot.
Shortly after, I received another message saying that the item had been removed because they suspected it was a counterfeit. What a mess…
Three responses from Vinted and three different explanations.
When I pointed out that I had received three different responses, I was directly threatened with my account being blocked if it happened again, with no possibility to reply.
In short, Vinted thinks they are God!!!
ah well … that’s what will be their downfall in the long run. Because I think the day a platform takes off (or a resurrection of an old one like eBay), many won’t hesitate long before leaving.
