I am a professional seller on Vinted.
I sold 3 acrylic protectors, perfectly packaged (bubble wrap + cardboard + bubble wrap film).
Upon receipt, only 1 item was broken. The other 2 were in perfect condition.
The customer himself confirmed that:
- the packaging was impeccable,
- he wanted a partial refund,
- and he agreed with me.
However, Vinted:
- canceled the entire order,
- refunded 100% to the customer,
- claimed an “packaging defect” (false),
- without asking me for any photos,
- without following the mandatory procedure for professional sellers (return, form, etc.),
- and refuses to review the decision, despite the evidence and the buyer’s testimony.
Result: €45 lost when only 1 item was worth €15.
Do you perhaps have a tip for this kind of dispute? I have sent a report to the DGCCRF. I find it outrageous that they don’t even follow their own return procedure.
Thank you
