Transaction suspended to my detriment!

Big mishap for me on Vinted despite 4 years of experience, it was bound to happen one day!

I sold about twenty items for about a hundred euros to a buyer via Chronopost for 20 items.

I kindly accepted another discount despite already having a 25% reduction on the total…

The package was very well packed initially, I took photos of the outside and one of the inside but not of all the items because it’s difficult, they are folded in a large tote bag.

The buyer collected the package today before 2 p.m. and only reported it at 5:30 p.m. for poorly packaged or opened package!

This person declares 3 missing items via messaging but declares 4 in the dispute.

Furthermore, she also disputes 2 damaged items! without any photos.

I am offered: request a return or refund without return. I haven’t made a decision yet.

I have contacted Vinted support, they should tell me something within 48 hours.

Honestly, looking at these photos, I suspect she opened it, took the 4 branded items, and declared the 2 other products, one vintage and damaged, to « scam » me.
Basically, I lose 40% of the sum for the solution initially proposed…

I am pessimistic because Vinted generally always sides with the buyers.

Who can guide me please?

« Package opened »: try to file a Vinted dispute regarding the carrier. If the package is damaged, normally, this must be reported to the carrier upon delivery (the merchant, when it is a relay point).
There will be an investigation with Chronopost.

I cannot guarantee that you will win your case, but you can try.
