Hello
There are clearly very big problems with accounts being automatically suspended right now, mine was permanently suspended for selling counterfeit goods (for a Promod Haute Couture item!), I’ve sent emails and made requests via the app but no response!
You’re « lucky », mine is only 3 days and temporary
Good luck everyone!
Oh dear, poor you… I was suspended for almost a month for the same reason. I made two requests for review through support and also sent an email to legal@vinted.fr, and I think it was that email that made things happen. Try to appeal again on the app and send an email with all possible evidence as a backup… I hope this helps you.
@helene2484 any idea of a procedure to follow for your permanent ban?
Yes, it’s happening more and more unfortunately. Vinted has significantly strengthened its automatic brand-related filters due to issues with counterfeit items and deliberate keyword manipulation.
The problem is that the algorithm doesn’t really differentiate between:
A genuine, unintentional typo
Someone deliberately altering a brand name to avoid detection.
Having reposted the ad probably worsened the automatic flagging. I’ve already seen restrictions for « incorrect brand », « misleading keywords », or even simple inconsistency in the title.
In recent months, Vinted’s moderation seems much more automated than before, with very little human verification at the first level.
