Our photos… and they tell us it’s copyright. LOL. Outrageous. It’s Vinted not checking, and the jealous people reporting it… they have nothing else to do..
The photos must not be visible anywhere else on the web, not even on a personal blog or social media network. Images contain so-called EXIF data. If the verification AI detects the same EXIF data elsewhere, it automatically rejects them. If you sell on multiple platforms, each platform must have its own images, never the same ones as elsewhere.
I think we shouldn’t let this go and should contest as much as possible with Vinted.
In my opinion, their current stance is to believe reports as long as they come in from multiple different accounts. And some Vinties have understood this: they coordinate on Facebook to make the rules on Vinted and Vinted agrees with them.
If we complain systematically to Vinted, they will be forced to review this unfair system because it will take them too much time to respond to everyone complaining about these false reports. So write to them!
They were all sent out quickly. Saying they’d reply about my ongoing appeal. Lol.
I’m no longer restricted, but for how long… the problem isn’t actually resolved. And the appeal is still ongoing. If it’s like the last one, it’ll be strictly useless.
Hello, I’ve just received a 3-day suspension for « copyright, recovering photos from the web… ». During these 3 days, there were 2 other interventions from Vinted, meaning 20 listings were hidden for « poor quality photos », and another was hidden last night for the same reason. This is harassment. I have 90 items in my personal wardrobe, so either the Vinted bot has lost its mind, or I have! I don’t know what else to do, I’m supposed to get my account back tonight!
I have a phenomenal list of reports.. be careful on Facebook. Never put your Vinted profile as a link in groups dedicated to Vinted. And Messenger boost groups..
Not to mention the jealous people on Vinted.
It’s enough that you sell the same thing as them.. and there you go. Worse and worse
My advice: change your username here on the forum as well so that it’s not the same as on Vinted. We can’t rule out that this « Vinted militia » might target you after reading your posts…
