Following the change on Vinted regarding republication, some of you may have reverted to republications without modification.
Do you see any impact on your sales? Positive or negative?
On my end, I tested both (with and without modification).
I observed that items without modification get more favorites than those with a modification.
On the other hand, impressions are roughly the same: the item on the left, whether modified or not, has almost the same number of impressions.
And it’s the same for sales.
Hello!
I feel like I have more views, although I’ve noticed a clear increase since January. A few more favorites too, perhaps.
If I may say so, the modification affects the quality of my photos. You can see that if I add a logo, the modified version is a bit blurrier than the base version. This could therefore have an impact on visitors’ perception.
I’ve had a few more sales since I put the original photos back, rather than with the smiley. It’s quite remarkable, and people say they don’t buy when they see it’s been reassembled with clemz. Frames or other items…
Hello!
I’m continuing my little tests:
I republished 2 articles one morning, without modification and without requesting views.
This republication generated some favorites and some views as well. (About thirty)
In these republications, I reused an article published with a modification 1 week ago. During this new republication, it had more views and favorites. The timing was not the same either, it’s also the end of the school holidays and I think that plays a role.
For now, I am rather FOR republication without modification
Hello!
I’m also coming back to the observation I made. I really have more views, favorites, and my sales are picking up again. Slowly but surely. But between the 15th and 20th of the month, people have less money, so we’ll see if it continues or if it’s just the surge linked to the arrival of payments (salaries, social benefits, etc.).
