Republication of listings: do you modify your listings to avoid restrictions?

Hello everyone

I’ve noticed quite a few restrictions or bans lately after republication.

Do you modify your ads before republishing or do you put them back as they are?

Hello, no changes from me (100/day)

Have a good day

Thank you for the feedback, so you haven’t had any issues lately? Unless I’m mistaken, those who had problems are not with Clemz, but they now recommend modifying the announcements.

It’s true that with everything we’re seeing, I’ve calmed down a bit too, I logically republish every day without changing my ads but I’ve stopped a bit and I’m asking myself the same question, is it better to change the photos again?

Nothing noted except that there are fewer views on the « real new announcements »

To pick up on my message from a previous post:
Since the Vinted update, a lot of accounts have been blocked for 3 to 7 days due to reposts.
The current repost system from solutions like Clemz are all obsolete because the Vinted bot now detects micro variations on reposts better and penalizes more easily than before.
If you still use the same template on multiple items, there is also a risk apparently.
And worse, if you use saved photos from one account to publish them on another account, you have a high risk of being blocked.

For my part, I’ve also noticed restrictions for about 12 days.

I republished with and without modifications and had practically no views, no favorites, and of course zero sales (I’m an individual so no impact like a professional). I republished 4 times in 12 days to give you an idea.

Yesterday I published 12 new articles, I had views, about fifty favorites, and 2 sales in less than 12 hours.

So we can indeed ask the question of visibility between republications and new publications.

Lucille, Clement, do you have any feedback on this subject? I should republish tomorrow but I admit I’m hesitating a bit.

No changes for me

I agree with you, I’ve noticed the same thing for a long time.

Good evening!

I continue to repost without modification on my end, and I haven’t had any restrictions or visibility issues. (I’ve also had sales.)
I repost/publish between 5 and 10 ads per day. Sometimes up to 20.
But never 20 at once (a bit at noon, and in the evening) and with a spacing of 50 seconds and sometimes 90 seconds.

However, we are observing restrictions for duplicates, but another topic is open on the forum about this.

Thank you Lucile, that reassures me a little!

Thank you Lucile for your feedback, I sent you an email but please disregard it.

I will test your method and see if things return somewhat to normal.

Good evening to you all.

Nothing noticed on my end. I republish about 60 ads per day, in a batch. Sales have been lower since around January 22nd, but it’s the same seasonal effect as last year.

Same here, I republish without modification and no problem :crossed_fingers:t2:

Oops, I think I replied to you this morning. Better too much than not enough :innocent: Sorry for the duplicate!

Yes, well, for alleged duplicates that aren’t actually duplicates!

I think Vinted’s bot now detects certain aspects of republications….

I think you’re right, I re-published 10 items and only got 5 views. When I posted new items, I got views and favorites, and then sales.

I really think the Vinted update detects re-published items.

Hello Lucille

What is the best way to republish with on-the-fly photo editing, without modification?
From my side, I set a pause of 15 to 20 seconds, is that perhaps too short?
And I republish more than 20 articles each time because since views and favorites are only possible once a day…

Thank you for your feedback

Have a good day

Kloé

Hello Kloé!

If you have any examples, don’t hesitate to send us an email at bonjour@clemz.app
Since the beginning of the week, I have studied each case of « false duplicates » and restricted accounts by Vinted following this message and… Unfortunately, each time I found « duplicate » or very, very similar items (with the same photos as item #1 but not in the right order, for example.)

On my end, I always re-publish without modification, with a 50 to 90 second spacing. I re-publish 5 at a time and I mix between re-publications and new publications. (I’m repeating myself a bit with what I said above, sorry about that!)

Perhaps try re-publishing with a 30-second spacing, and do 10 per day in the coming days.. I think I read on the forum that you were recently restricted? I therefore advise you to go… Little by little.

You can test some items with photo modifications: it’s included in the Clemz subscription  This will give you peace of mind on the subject :hugs: Whether the modification is on the fly or « at the moment » doesn’t change the result. If you really think Vinted is identifying your photos, then modify them significantly (with a frame, for example)

Thank you for your feedback.

However, I expect to no longer be able to use Vinted because after the 3-day restriction, it’s now my turn for a verification that has been ongoing for 48 hours on an item.

This makes my wardrobe invisible, with almost no messages or sales compared to when it was working normally.

I have therefore lowered my prices to clear my stock in case the adventure ends here!
