Lack of visibility after republication: what do you think?

Hello everyone, I’m posting to ask for your help.

I’m an individual and I’ve been using Clemz for several months now, several times a week, without any difficulty.
I have a very small closet with 39 items to date. When I reposted, I used to get quite a few favorites and views.

Except that I repost all the items on Wednesday and now, nothing. A 90% drop in results. After almost 48 hours, I have 8 favorites and not even 50 views.

I searched for my items the next morning and nothing. I thought it was a shadowban, but no, because I found my items in good positions if and only if I did a very detailed search (price, condition, color). I still made 2 sales, so no shadowban.

However, I have the impression that Vinted has throttled the distribution, is that possible, and therefore the visibility?

So I don’t know what to do. Should I keep a low profile for a while or go back to reposting, but less massively?

Have you experienced a similar situation? Thank you for your help.

Have a nice day.

Hello, I am also an individual with a closet of 110 items and over 60 followers. I usually made 1 to 2 sales per week. Since January 8th, no more sales, almost no views, a maximum of 2 favorites per day for about 10 reposts. I will try not to publish anything for 48 hours to see if there is any improvement…

Thank you for your testimony.

I don’t have a sales problem on my end, but really no activity other than this re-publication. As if Vinted had identified my photos (which I don’t modify) and relegated me to the second-to-last re-publication. This could be consistent because I no longer have visibility after a maximum of 3 days.

I’m trying to find a coherent reason for this lack of visibility, which has never happened before.

Okay. So just for your information, I modify all my photos when I republish them and I slightly modify the titles and texts.

So, since the beginning of the month, I’ve been re-listing daily without any changes, as Vinted accepts it. And so, maybe that’s the issue. When I re-listed on Wednesday, the algorithm created new listings, but maybe it detected my photos and put me back to my last re-listing, which was Sunday. I know that after 48 hours, I have practically no more views or favorites, so maybe that’s simply it.

It’s worth a try! Usually, re-listing items brings them to the very top of the wardrobe when it works, but you always have to be wary of Vinted

Indeed, I also notice that unlike the re-publications which receive almost no views or favorites, the new listings normally receive views and favorites as in the old days when Vinted was less capricious!

Thank you for your comment.

I just published a new ad and I can see it in the news feed, so it confirms what I think: the algorithm must have recognized the photos for once and downgraded my ads.

Hello

Do you do this in automation?

Yes, it seems more realistic that the algorithm recognizes our reposted ads than that all platform users are tired of seeing our ads.

Hello,

No to the old way: manually.

And when I post only 3 ads instead of 10-20, it changes absolutely nothing.

Without any criticism, is it profitable to pay for a subscription for 40 articles?

Hello, after a very good December, it has been very quiet with not many sales. I think that with the sales and after the holidays people are broke but it will pick up again

Hello, in my case yes, in 1 sale I paid for my subscription.

You should try republishing by changing the photos to see? Maybe that will change the result for you

Yes, it seems the algorithm recognizes the same publications, I just had my account restricted for 3 days because of it

Hello,
Did you re-publish from your dressing room, without importing your items from the backup?

I upload 200 per day without modifying them and no problem.

However, we no longer have the right to make a mistake on an ad that is accidentally duplicated.

Yet this is the case, only one duplicate ad, so I don’t understand, they say there were several!

I think you should file an appeal to defend your rights: the bot is poorly calibrated and bans too quickly. Otherwise, you risk 7 days next time and perhaps a permanent ban afterwards…

I think the message is generic. I doubt they change the plural to singular depending on each case.
