No more views or favorites

Hello.. I don’t think my message went through.

I hope it’s not bothering you as I’m new here.

I’m wondering why for the past week I’ve had almost no views or favorites, even though I sell regularly.

Listings redone properly; boosted; dressing room window etc…

As a result, no more sales.

Am I the only one?

Thanks in advance.

Hello,

No issues with views and favorites on my end: I have a few views on some articles and sometimes a lot at once on others. It all depends on my articles

Hello, same for me the function of views and favorites does not work, no views no favorites

Hello,
When you say

are you talking about Clemz?
If so, contact us at support@clemz.app, we can look together at what is happening. :slightly_smiling_face:

No, I don’t know Clemz personally.

I have a very standard Vinted account.

But I have never had such a fall or such a problem.

Yes, it’s with clemz

Send me an email at bonjour@clemz.app and we will look at it together.

When you are logged out of Vinted, can you find your wardrobe by searching for it? If not, try searching for your items (you can also ask friends to test this).

Thank you for your interest .

Yes, you can find me without any problems

You can see my dressing room in the window..and everything

With pleasure!

Is it really zero views and zero favorites?
Vinted had issues with the counters a few days ago but it would be surprising if they haven’t been resolved for you.

You should know that it’s unfortunately a common phenomenon to sometimes « fall into a black hole » on Vinted. You go a few days or weeks without visibility and then it comes back.
Often, people advise taking a small boost or a showcase dressing to unblock the situation, but you’ve already done that…

So I got 1 favorite.. to tell you .

I usually have quite a lot on a daily basis, especially since I publish 3/4 new articles per day. It might not seem like much, but for me, it was working well until now..

Well, there’s nothing to be done.. I think I’m in the black hole

Thank you

Here is my feedback after several months on Vinted.

Initially, I posted few items, but each generated a lot of views, favorites, and sales. Then, upon reaching around 300–400 reviews and increasing the number of items in my wardrobe, I noticed a gradual decrease in visibility: fewer views and fewer favorites per item.

I have the impression that Vinted gives more prominence to small accounts or new sellers, and that beyond a certain volume, the platform regulates visibility a bit to balance things out and give everyone a chance. This is just a hypothesis, of course, but it seems to me that several people have found themselves in the same situation.

Hello, I had already read this several times and strangely I had never been affected until this week.

Indeed, since Monday, no visibility, a few views but articles that usually sell in 1 hour are still not sold in 5 days, I even tested with 1 article by practically giving it away at -50 compared to the usual price and nothing

I don’t know if it has to do with it as you say, but in any case, it’s total nothingness… and we can’t do anything, that’s the worst…
Some are talking about algorithms… anyway, I don’t know anymore

Same.

I notice it a lot with my books, which are a bit niche. I feel like there are too many people selling on Vinted. Too many items, too much of everything.

I used to buy a lot, I sell a little from time to time, but I don’t go on Vinted every day like I used to. I just go to check if I have messages and to get rid of notifications.

If I’m saturated, I think there must be others. It’s no longer seen as a bargain site like before, but just another online store. When I see a price ending in .90 or .99, it makes my hair stand on end.

Hello, as a professional seller in a fairly specific niche, I manage to get by and continue to sell well, but I’m finding it increasingly difficult. I don’t know if the algorithm has improved in my niche, but I’m seeing more and more professional and non-professional sellers entering my niche, sometimes with extremely low prices. From the beginning, I was keeping an eye on two or three competing sellers. Now I find myself with an army of competitors, some of whom are offering clearly unbeatable prices. It’s worrying, but I’m doing what’s necessary, and republishing frequently helps me.

Hello - I confirm. Shop with about 600 varied items as I resell what is cluttering me. My last sale was on September 18th. Listing ending and zero sales. No more favorites than usual. Listing or boosting is throwing money out the window.

Vinted, in my opinion, is a victim of its success. Even when I look for something to buy and even when I try to be precise, each time I am offered more than 500 results, so I give up.

Frankly, I agree with you that it’s not a matter of price. I’ve tested it several times by selling items at a discount (even well below market price) and it hasn’t changed anything in terms of visibility. In fact, the issue is more related to the algorithm that Vinted implements.

Today, you can have better photos, use boosts, be at the same price as another seller, and still appear behind them, sometimes even behind non-boosted listings. It’s quite frustrating, but it clearly shows that price alone doesn’t make a listing stand out.

So, the only way to counter this, in my opinion, is to focus on consistency and volume: repost often, have quite a few items online, build loyalty with buyers who return, and develop a small base of followers. Because if Vinted decides to « hide » you, it becomes difficult to sell without organic traffic.

Regarding the showcase:

I think the showcase also gets put at the top according to the republication date because when I republish, I get boosts in my showcase stats, and I notice that in the showcase, I gain a lot of subscribers. As for purchase engagement, I don’t know if it has an impact.

My best weapon, in itself, is republication. I do it as much as possible, even if it’s twice a day, I do it because it allows me to have favorites to whom I can then send a message that can sometimes lead to communication, questions, and purchases…

If I don’t republish, I notice a real void, no views or favorites. So it’s clearly with each republication that I get my shop going again…

I also republish several times a day to keep my closet circulating. With about 250 items in my main shop, I don’t let an item sit for more than 3–4 days without boosting it again. This also gives people who have favorited an item time to think about it.

Ideally, I’d like to get to a rhythm of about a week, but for now, I don’t think I have enough items to manage that while ensuring regular sales.

How do you manage your republications?
