Parcel weight exceeds 2kg. How to create a custom shipment?

Hello,

I wish to sell a product, a wooden dashboard for children with its original packaging and non-disassemblable, the weight of which with the packaging exceeds the maximum 2 kg offered by the carriers. The weight with the cardboard packaging is exactly: 2.64 kg. I have indicated the dimensions and weight of the product in the listing.

My settings do not offer me any other shipping methods exceeding the maximum 2 kg, nor the creation of special labels, which I can create myself, that’s not the problem.

The problem is that to create the listing, I must indicate a package format, and therefore the maximum is: large package, maximum 2 kg?

If I validate the listing with this weight indication, will I automatically be offered the creation of a personalized label? Should I indicate it in the listing?

Hello, you can send heavier packages even if it says 2kg, I’ve never had any problems.

I found it! It depends on the selected category to have shipping options beyond 2 kg! You need to select categories, and the shipping options will appear with proposals beyond 2 kg. Now I just need to find the most relevant or closest category. It’s resolved then. Vinted is well designed though. :+1: :grinning_face:

Hello - I sometimes have this problem with batches of books. A little over 2 kg is okay, but some books are heavy and a batch can weigh up to 2/3 kg. I don’t see myself posting books in the tableware category, for example, which offers 5 kg.
