My package has been stuck since January 10th, knowing it was sent on December 31st*. Given the value of the package, I’m becoming borderline paranoid, checking the Mondial Relay app every 30 minutes, it’s starting to annoy me. I contacted support this morning: unsurprisingly, they repeated what my tracking already tells me (why are these people paid?).
I saw on a Reddit thread that you need to open a logistics investigation after 5 days of inactivity. Is this possible since the intermediary is Vinted? Does it work? Thanks in advance and have a good evening everyone
me, Chronopost, they don’t want to. they refuse to launch an investigation, they tell me (customer service, which is clearly not in France) that only Vinted can do it.
knowing that Vinted forces us to wait 25 working days to supposedly launch an investigation and that Chronopost wants a dispute to be opened within a maximum of 21 days, the conclusion is quickly drawn…
basically, it must be cheaper for Vinted to declare the package lost and refund people than to waste Chronopost’s time. it’s perhaps in their low-cost contract.
Yes, indeed, perhaps investigations are not possible given that if it’s lost, Vinted gives you a whole month (lol) to refund you… but oh well, if only it were possible to get answers!
Good evening, Chronopost is passing the buck to Vinted, who passes it to La Poste, who passes it to Chronopost…. 2 lost packages for me, 2 lost sales, and no refund…. Good luck
my best advice in case of a lost package:
drop it..
I had one delivered to the buyer the day I was going to be reimbursed, as if everything arrives.
I had one where I was not reimbursed because my package was poorly made… I have 1400 sales, I know how to pack a package… I had no recourse.
If you start contesting, you will be faced with an insurmountable wall of chatbots and automatic messages…
