I’ve been having a problem with Vinted for a little over 2 weeks now. My account has been permanently blocked for selling new tights. Vinted judged that it was forbidden to sell these items. As a result, I have 3000 euros blocked in my wallet and no possibility to enter an IBAN to recover my funds. I send emails twice a day to their different email addresses to ask them to review their decision, which doesn’t seem justified to me. They reply that my situation has been reviewed twice and that each time they maintain their decision. What strikes me about your case is the fact that Vinted keeps the €3,000 you have in your wallet.
That they block accounts however they see fit is standard practice, and it’s pretty much the rule: they decide the conditions for selling, update them, and enforce them, just like on any platform.
But keeping funds in an account they have blocked is another matter. Has this happened to any of you other Vinted users before?
