Chronopost routing error

Quick question: I had a problem with the Post Office for two Chronopost shipments. I dropped off the packages on Saturday, everything was scanned correctly and seemed normal. But today, Monday, the tracking says they have already arrived… except they are « available for pickup » at the same post office where I dropped them off.

Since I’m away, my wife went to the post office. They explained that they had put them in the wrong bin. The agent rescanned the packages and said they were on their way again.

On my end, I received two notifications for each package: one indicating « package picked up, » and then immediately after, another announcing a new drop-off.

My question: Has this happened to anyone before? How long does it take for the tracking to become normal again?
After rescanning, it still showed « available for pickup » for several hours, and now it says « package picked up. » I imagine the new tracking will appear, but if anyone has had this issue before, your feedback would reassure me. Thanks!

This has happened to me several times. In fact, during the scan, there’s an operation to perform to separate shipments and receipts, and those who don’t have the reflex skip it. And Chronopost sometimes has issues updating their tracking.

Thank you for your answer.
So the new tracking should arrive at some point during a scan at Chronopost?
It stresses me out and the customers are panicking with the pickup notifications.

Because if it is marked as arrived, the package is considered delivered and therefore returned to you. Basically, by doing this, the bug is that the package is considered to be arriving at the correct pickup point but taking into account the drop-off point. It happened to me that Chrono delivered the package to my home the next day.

This has also happened to me several times with Chronopost.

The package is sent out the next day and the tracking is updated when the package arrives at the first sorting center, it seems to me.
