I created two Vinted accounts using proxies. So far, no issues: I took the time to « warm up » each account by sending likes, making a few offers on listings, and posting an item on each (different, non-branded items).
The problem is that 24 hours later, both accounts were blocked for counterfeiting… Have those who created a new account recently encountered the same situation? I really feel like new accounts are on thin ice and can be banned without a valid reason.
I had the exact same problem with a third account, this time created on my new phone. It was eventually unblocked 6 days later, after review, with Vinted acknowledging it was an error on their part.
what type of article were you blocked on? Did you request your data to see if it wasn’t a report? (if you use the same background for photos, with multiple accounts, …)
For a Kway jacket and a pair of Bershka ankle boots, I can’t see my data because my account is blocked, so it’s impossible to know, but I think it’s the Vinted bot. I’m careful about the background for the photos so that they are clearly different between each account.
Good luck then with getting unblocked, you have already managed to get unblocked and given your articles, it’s not justified! And out of curiosity, ask for your data after unblocking (I was blocked for counterfeiting a Promod top following several reports in the space of a few minutes).
