Completely new to Vinted, I’m trying to understand how to send the correct package when selling.
For example, someone just bought a set of shampoos from me to send via Vinted Go.
In my shipping instructions, the maximum weight is 1000 g, while my package weighs 1.3 kg.
And at the same time, I read in the Vinted Go rules that the package can weigh up to 15 kg.
So I don’t understand very well and really need your advice on how to proceed to send my first order.
Sorry if the subject seems clear to you. For me, it is not at all. I would like to understand how I should proceed.

When you create your listing, you must select the format of your package (either you follow the choice offered by Vinted or you modify it if you find it unsuitable… since you are starting out, perhaps you should at least weigh the item when creating the listing to get an estimate of the total weight of your future package)
Once that’s done, when someone buys the item, they will only choose the carrier and pay the shipping costs based on your chosen format
You will then receive a shipping label to stick on your package
For your current transaction and the 300g difference… I know that a margin of error is accepted by carriers (but not to be abused) so your package should go through
